If you're curious what a "Special Interest" is like with ASD, here's an example of mine: Tempest. I own three Tempest machines, an upright, a cabaret, and a cocktail (sit-down) machine. The high score on one of them was set by the game's author at the Atari Christmas Party. I have two spare monitors just in case. I hold the official world record on Tempest using the most difficult settings (Extreme mode). I reverse-engineered, disassembled, and documented the code from the game's ROMs on its motherboard. Next, I then wrote a Reinforcement Learning AI to learn Tempest and exceed my play; it can play indefinitely. I could go on, but I'll spare you the rest and summarize: I really like Tempest.

People always love to ask, "What are you going to do when the battery goes on your Tesla?" This 2019 Model 3 RWD owned by @Drive_Protected still had the ORIGINAL battery and rear motor after 381,000 miles (613,000 km). Even after all those miles, the battery retained 70% capacity. He decided to bring new life to the car by swapping the original NCA pack for a modern LFP pack from a newer Model 3. The original pack was still perfectly functional, the swap was just for performance. Swapping a battery in a Tesla is much quicker than people think. In just a few hours, the orginal battery was removed then replaced with a LFP pack. Once configured via the computer, the car is perfectly functional. There’s no huge mess, not a lot of wires, it’s actually very simple once you are experienced with it. His Model 3 now functions and charges like a newer car. Tesla vehicles are designed from the ground up to be very serviceable.

My reply to someone considering starting a video game company: The distribution of possible rewards for starting a video game company are generally not very good today. The market is well served, and gaining a foothold requires strong execution on both business and product issues, along with a substantial amount of luck. Plan to burn through seven figures with a not-great chance of making it back. If you do go for it, some bits of advice: Identify your customers clearly before you start. Not just a broad community, but specific people, and imagine them as you make decisions. Initially, build the smallest, most concise game you can imagine anyone paying for. It will still take much longer than you expect. Once something exists, hill-climb the value. Hopefully you will have some elements that clearly bring joy to people, which you can magnify. There will inevitably be tons of things that people find confusing, frustrating, or just boring that you will need to fix.

Think of an LLM as a six-sided die. Now you need it to produce an answer to a question, so you roll it. Hallucinations are just the wrong answers. There's no way to roll a "nothing".

I’m sure Chad Bianco is a nice fellow and a very capable sheriff, but he has only really held a government job and lacks the perspective and experience I think a state as complicated as California requires. We need someone who understands how to run an economy and how to communicate with the media, and Steve Hilton is the candidate who can do that. Simply saying you plan to be tough on crime is not enough to make the change California needs.

There are many ways to become a billionaire. What you're talking about is something else. You're talking about whether anyone is entitled to a billion dollars. And the reality is that if they came by it legally, they're entitled to it by virtue of having earned it, and no one's opinion should matter. That said, certainly, some cases feel more just than others.

I think someone can become a billionaire by creating over a billion dollars worth of value.
