@PopBase Ticketmaster making 27% of a sale is a problem. Capping the fee at a flat amount would be a real game changer. Still gotta figure out professional resellers (maybe a giant tax), but making folks take a loss on events when life happens sucks.

Ticketmaster Canada will no longer allow tickets for concerts, sports, and other live events in Ontario to be resold above their original price starting next week. Ontario’s newly passed Bill 97 caps all resale ticket prices, including fees, service charges, and applicable taxes.

Yay or nay on the greenside pool? The new pool added to 18 at Memorial Park to keep the tradition of the champ jumping in the pond. This is a one year temporary fix. Yes it should have been planned better, but it’s a great tradition and should be kept.
