I have visited the Nova festival site, met a survivor, and seen the unedited footage of Oct 7. I can never forget what I have seen, and for that I can never turn my back on Jewish and Israelis subjected to it. Everyone should know the reality of that horrific attack.

Well this is truly appalling:
The IDF now accepts the Gaza Health Ministry’s conservative official death toll figure of 71,000 Palestinians. Yet, for 2 years of a genocide it claimed those same figures were false - and the BBC News and other media insisted on seeding doubt in the mind of the public by using the inaccurate phrase “Hamas led” Health Ministry.

The successful recovery of Police Officer Ran Gvili’s body in Gaza closes one of the darkest chapters of the Middle East conflict.
For the first time since 2014 there are no Israeli hostages held in Gaza. All 20 live hostages and all 28 deceased hostages in Gaza have now been returned home.
Under @realDonaldTrump leadership, @SEPeaceMissions and I worked closely with @CIA, @Netanyahu and his team, @IDF, Egypt’s GIS, Turkey, Qatar, and many cooperative Gazans to make possible this unthinkable outcome. Coordination and trust were built between individuals and organizations where none previously existed. This produced tangible results.
Helping the people of Gaza start a new chapter free from the tyranny of Hamas is a critical mission to prevent future death and destruction for Israelis and Palestinians. This will also eliminate a flashpoint manipulated by disingenuous actors to mobilized antisemitism and other forms of division and hatred.
We are trying new approaches, hoping to achieve new outcomes. This is an end, but also a new beginning.

There was a a 254,000 population decline in Gaza. Around 100,000 emigrated and the decline was offset by 60,000 births. Therefore, 134,000 are likely dead, and are in the following categories: indirect deaths from healthcare collapse, malnutrition, disease, and bodies still under rubble. If you condemn the horrific, antisemitic attack in Bondi Beach while still defending genocide in Gaza, you’re not actually outraged by the killing of innocent people. It’s not hard to condemn both, unless you think some lives are more valuable than others.
