@Wadi_Ya @S_OkudzetoAblak Ghanians are falling for the same traps that other African countries are falling for. We are losing our sovereignty and becoming a colony. It starts with allowing Chinese companies to come here and "help" us

I wonder if @S_OkudzetoAblak is addressing this soon. We can’t be grooming this type of sentiment in our country. It starts small and turns into South Africa. Ghanaians do fraud and rituals too, now galamsey. Why do we act like crime is only committed by Nigerians?

“The women of Ghana should wise up, Nigerians are using you to d3$tro¥ Ghana. Nigerians are fr&udst3r$, they are r!7ual k’llr$ and organ h&rv3$ter$. Nigeria must go.” — Ghanaians says as they advocate for the deportation of Nigerians living in Ghana.

@Shejackiesays This no be living o Jacques, we are just suffering because the ordinary Ghanaian cannot enjoy the bare minimum that makes living worthwhile. Galamsey is creeping it’s head and slowly it’s going to move from electricity to drinking water and health complications.

After roaming around town trying to escape the heat and darkness, I finally decided to head home… only to be greeted by these scenes on the Haatso road towards Atomic Large parts of the area are still without power. Mine is still off too And in moments like this, I can’t help but wonder.,do the people in charge really feel what ordinary people are going through? Because for many of people, this isn’t just a minor inconvenience. Not everyone can afford solar panels, generators, or alternative power. Some of us simply depend on the electricity staying on. So honestly, we don’t need fancy explanations right now we just need the lights fixed

@afrisagacity Xenophobia started in Ghana in 1969 when they forced other African countries out of their own country blaming them for economic hardship, and taking their jobs.Nigeria returned the favour in 1983 tagged ‘Ghana must go’. However, this is the age of knowing SAfrica should know better

Xenophobic attacks in South Africa are driven by high unemployment (over 30%), poverty, and fierce competition for scarce jobs, housing, and services in townships. Locals often scapegoat African immigrants (from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, etc.) for crime, overcrowding, and failing government delivery, amplified by misinformation and viral videos. Recent incidents, including confrontations with Ghanaians, follow this pattern—frustration with systemic issues gets redirected at foreigners, despite official crackdowns. It's not about "no African foreigners"; migrants are legally and socially treated as such and bear the brunt.

Same with China, it shouldn’t be the case but it is human nature and we must live with it. Even in Ghana there is racism by people from the south against people from the north. As a privileged individual, it takes a conscious effort to not discriminate and be racist against people who are less privileged

When Africa becomes prosperous, racism against Black people everywhere will drop dramatically. That's not wishful thinking, you can actually watch this pattern play out in history. The Japanese were heavily discriminated against in America until Japan became an economic power.  Then suddenly Japanese culture was cool, Japanese products were premium, and the hostility faded. The same happened with South Korea. Prosperity rewrites how the world sees your people.  Nothing else even comes close.

Cabinet has approved our new e-Visa policy. The e-Visa regime covers those traveling to Ghana for business and tourism. When others make you feel unwelcome, Ghana says this is your home to invest and to enjoy the beauty of nature. As President Mahama declared at his inauguration last year, “Ghana is open for business again.” With smart policies, we are consolidating Ghana’s enviable reputation not only as the most peaceful, friendly and stable country to visit in Africa but as the nation fully utilizing technology to guarantee a fast and convenient travel experience within a robust security vetting architecture. Resetting Ghana must reflect in every facet. For God and Country 🇬🇭 🙏🏾
