@Ahmedmedhat000 You 100% missed the point. Its a statement about his changed viewpoint not an all-encompassing statement co-signing everyone else's actions. Even in season 2, he actively gets into a fight to help someone who he thinks is oppressed/needs the help.

The phrase "I have no enemies" sounds unrealistic and fantastical to me. There have always been tyrants, rapists, and evil people throughout human history. Or maybe I just missed the point I'm an anime only fan, but I can't see that changing

@SilverCalZ0ne @JohnFortnite124 @justalexoki Its really not. I would think the point of explaining the choice is baked in that everyone understands the implications of both. Again if were assuming some non-nameable portion of the population is just brain dead and cant fathom the choices, then the choices dont matter at all

@KorySingle76283 @JohnFortnite124 @justalexoki You’re kinda dumb, someone is always going to pick blue and someone is always going to pick red, that’s a forced assumption. Only by picking blue can both of these people survive, logically there is no good reason to pick red considering the 0 death threshold is higher

@ImNotOwned @TheLastNeocon So the whole point of the question is that were supposed to role the dice because some unknown quantity kg the population doesnt actually understand whats foing on? At that point why tell us what the buttons mean at all? Why not just pick at random and hope

Reds are so high iq that they can’t think hard enough to understand that many kids will choose at random, people won’t read hard enough to understand if everyone hit red everyone lives, etc. Blue obvious choice if you value living in a society at all. We do have an obligation to not wipe other people off the earth if it’s preventable.

@Amalgamyte_VT By what line of reasoning would the deaths be by my hand? Generally speaking the rules of the game are laid out such that the only fathomable reason to pick blue is if youre suicidal and looking for an out. Blues end result is just reds result without the extra steps.

Suicidal empathy. If everyone presses the blue button, everyone survives. Versus taking the chance that by pressing the red, you were the one that tipped the favor, and all the blue button pushers die. You would survive no matter what by pressing red, but would you be able to carry the guilt of mass murder for the rest of your life? Even if 1% of the global population pressed blue, that's still a lot of people dead, partially by your own hand
vittorio@IterIntellectus

why would anyone even press blue?!?

@neosovietposter I mean thats a nice thought but it leads to a pretty obvious slippery slope if you want to hinge your society on the basis that ppl should needlessly put themselves into a "please save me" scenario when theres a pretty obvious out mechanism right there

This kind of child’s first game theory intro thought argument hinges on the idea that if taken seriously the vast majority of people would conceivably want to live in a world populated entirely by red button pushers. Come on now
Tim Urban@waitbutwhy

Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

@JohnFortnite124 @justalexoki The answer is because death is only introduced by picking blue. If any single person picks blue, they then inherently force others to pick blue as a means to save their life when they could've just picked red and skipped the shenanigans. Picking red does what blue does but better

@justalexoki I don’t see why everyone shouldnt press blue. Like I get the argument for red just save yourself but if we all just press blue then we all survive.

@Tabletop_James @0lisa_ @oliveegger You arent killing them? They literally have the same ability to press the "guarantee your own survival with no faults" button and if they choose to pick the altruistic option thats on them

@oliveegger @CalderVenn But no one has to die if everyone picks red as well. Youre just making it harder for everyone to live because now youre gambling

@mc1243657 @TragicHero628 @coopuhscoopuh Ah thats what it was. Certainly wasnt the OC change, the lack of talent in the wr room, the lack of talent in the hb room, the nfl adopting a new defensive philosophy based on his playstyle alone, etc. It was "prime kelce"

Rough graphs for the “Mahomes was carried by his defense” crowds 😂😂😂

The best #SuperBowl champion of the century by combined EPA/Drive (regular season & playoffs excluding garbage time) is still the 2024 #Eagles. This year's Seahawks rank 9th out of the 26 champions.
