Settler violence in the West Bank has intensified under cover of the Israeli-American attack on Iran. Since 28 February, armed settler militias, operating with military backing, have been entering Palestinian communities daily and attacking families inside their homes with clubs, stones, tear gas and live fire. The militias’ violence is expanding, shifting from attacks on small, isolated communities to assaults on large villages and towns. Since late February, settlers have killed 5 Palestinians. Four entire communities, home to 33 Palestinian families, have been forced off their land after their lives were made impossible by a pattern of repeated attacks. These militias are another arm of Israel’s apartheid regime, enjoying full backing, arming and total impunity. The daily, lethal violence they initiate is a central tool in Israel’s policy of dispossessing and expelling Palestinians from their land. Ethnic cleansing in the West Bank is happening now.

The fact that Israel and the US are killing civilian officials is already crazy enough, but I don't think people realize how utterly insane it is that Israel even put Aragchi, a diplomat, on a kill list. Even Attila and Gengis Khan respected the immunity of diplomats.

Amidst the ongoing illegal and lethal Israeli-American offensive against Iran, Israel is expanding its ethnic cleansing in East Jerusalem, throwing Palestinian families into the streets. The eviction of 11 families, marks the continuation of a massive displacement wave: approximately 2,200 people in Silwan are facing an imminent threat of forced displacement, 150 families (1,500 individuals) in al-Bustan and 90 families (700 individuals) in Baten al-Hawa. This is the reality of systematic, institutionalized violence and a clear manifestation of an Israeli policy aimed at engineering the demographic balance and "Judaizing" the neighborhood by exploiting discriminatory laws. These measures are designed to expand Israeli presence and control over one of the most politically and religiously sensitive areas in the region, serving as a crucial component of the broader ethnic cleansing currently unfolding across the West Bank.

Embracing Israel's strategy -- if you can't defeat Iran, damage it as much as possible to delay the next war. But clear the downsides of this, as it implies the inevitability of the next war to degrade Iran's capabilities again.

This is an obvious loser, in my view. The past month has shown that the US has no strategy at all. Chances of Saudi & UAE increasing escalation w/o “neutering” Iran militarily, let alone achieving regime change, are sky high. But what realistic alternative would people advise?
