My little girl and I watched the new Melania movie today. While watching, my daughter fixed her posture and started sitting up straight. She commented on Melania’s outfits, and after we finished, she went to put on her dress and nice shoes. I realized the messaging we send to children matters. The influence we have over them is far greater than we think. We need to normalize young ladies acting like young ladies again, and little boys acting like gentlemen. Wherever it shakes out, 2 things can be true… This was an unnecessary over-the-top reaction. The man overstepped “protesting” and got himself in a very bad spot. It doesn’t always have to be “evil” of any sort. Bad shit happens. If it ends up clearly being bad or lack of proper procedures, then we should want the matter handled and the officers to be held accountable. But the Left needs to ask their people to not get involved outside of documenting and shouting. This can get much uglier very quick. I think Trump needs to address the nation. What he could or should say? I’m not sure. But he and the Dems need to stop feeding the fire.
