@FreeRangeWhites Look, I think winning a single state House seat, that was only held for 2 years, in rural Wyoming was truly worth the millions of dollars wasted by the LP over the last 50 or so years.

@_Apollosol @SigurdTorsten Jeff Yass is a Zionist but he supports Massie because he's also a hardcore devout libertarian of the Cato Institute variety. That seems to matter more to him than Massie's stance that we shouldn't let Israel run our government.

You guys are getting SO offended by a joke photo of me grilling burgers which is what TEXANS do. Imagine how Texans feel about you guys not respecting it here in real life. Get off your high horse. True Texans are raised to respect our nature and not litter. Putting milk , statues and fruit in our lakes is far more insulting to us than some stupid AI photo. Texans are tired of seeing India stores pop up on every corner, every new shopping center around here is Indian!! This isn’t INDIA! It’s insulting to us.

@JackalopeGulch @jacqui683 @kkarnik03 @KellyIsRightTX There was no country here. The natives were warring tribes oftentimes who did grotesque things to themselves and one another. There was nothing to assimilate to. Meanwhile we give modern day migrants welfare cards and voting rights, and they hate us. Migration is warfare.

@jacqui683 @KyPaleo @kkarnik03 @KellyIsRightTX Huge difference between conquering another land/people and immigration. They are two different things. When you willingly and, theoretically, peacefully move to another place, you don't expect the inhabitants bend to your will. Conflating the two is disingenuous at best.

Ed Gallrein is attempting to primary Thomas Massie, and we encourage any voter in KY-04 to vote for Ed. Will Ed be a generational candidate that will fundamentally change Congress? No. Will Ed be an decent backbencher? Yes, and that’s an upgrade over Massie. This endorsement is more of an anti-Massie endorsement than anything else. Starting with Massie’s voting record: We will inevitably see posts about his Freedom Index score of ninety-whatever. Scorecards measure what they want, and the Freedom Index puts a heavy emphasis on debt, the Constitution, and freedom. That’s great for a libertarian. However, the Freedom Index does not list the OBBBA as a vote, which is a key point. The OBBBA is representative of the new Republican Party. We will deport illegals at any cost, and we must. Thomas Massie voted against the OBBBA, has voted against the Secure Our Border Act, has taken a stance against E-Verify, and against Real ID. Massie also voted for an amendment to force judicial warrants on ICE, which is a massive slowdown on deportation efforts. Massie also cosponsored the “Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act,” which would remove the per-country cap on employment-based immigrant visas. The number one beneficiary of this would be India, by a very large margin. The end result of Massie’s votes is pro-immigration. He counters this by sponsoring and cosponsoring good bills, but when the opportunity comes, he votes in suboptimal ways, such as when he voted to block Trump’s use of emergency funds to build the wall in 2019. Massie also stood up for MIT when they wanted to keep letting men into women’s restrooms (by wanting to keep federal funding going to them. Where is his “all funding should be cut” attitude?). Actually wielding power is a Libertarian’s kryptonite. Massie was also against blowing up narco boats. Next is his general incompetence as a Congressman. Massie has had very few big accomplishments in all his years in Congress. First, he delayed the vote on Covid emergency funding. He didn’t change the vote, just delayed it for a few days. His most recent accomplishment is doing the same thing: delaying the FISA temporary renewal for a few hours. Massie also insists everything must be single-issue bills, which is politically awful. Guess what happens if you split the OBBBA into single-issue bills? Literally everything liberal would pass, and nothing conservative would. Do you honestly believe that if the OBBBA was broken up, the bill called “Spending Money to Deport all Illegals” would pass? Massie, Salazar, Bacon, Fitzpatrick, and probably a few more would all vote no. The end result would not be a more based America. It would be an America without the money to deport all illegals. Massie’s other two big successes are straight-up terribly written. His role in suspending the Debt Ceiling for Joe Biden featured a terribly written enforcement mechanism, after which he blamed House GOP leadership rather than the bad bill itself. Why would Democrats vote for something that could lead to welfare cuts? They wouldn’t. They knew the bill was badly written. The same goes for the wording on the Epstein Files Bill. It was poorly written. It did not overturn common law restrictions on releasing certain types of communications, and Massie just couldn’t comprehend that, but hey we got unverified/false FBI tips entering the public discussion! Then there is the fact that Massie might be the biggest two-faced politician in the nation. He calls the Trump Admin the “Epstein Admin” while making ads implying he loves Trump to his primary voters. He literally hung out with “victims” who were calling Trump a pedophile, and a few months later sent out mailers saying he backs Trump. He will show a 10-year-old tweet where Charlie Kirk liked him, then thank Candace Owens for her endorsement, and retweet someone who called Charlie a pedophile. Massie also literally campaigned for Mitch McConnell. Massie also receives endorsements and donations from leftists. Cenk is a huge endorser of Massie. When has the left ever purposefully moved against their own interests? They always hate and attempt to destroy those who threaten Democrat control. Massie clearly is not a threat. He has consistently voted against censuring or stripping committees from radical leftists, including Schiff in 2023, Tlaib in 2023, and Omar in 2025 (after Omar mocked Charlie’s assassination). Massie also blamed Trump’s rhetoric for Charlie’s assassination while continuing to paint himself as Trump’s BFF. He takes money from IPAC, a group of Democratic Socialists who oppose ICE, and he knows exactly who they are. He flew to PA to meet their chairman. He is also backed by the Mahrouq family, which supports Omar, Tlaib, Lee, Bush, and Massie. When asked why he works with Democrats, he said, “Well no joke, when you are against the Uni-party, you need a unity party.” There is no unity with the left. There never will be. They hate America, and they hate you. He gets all this leftist support while claiming to be MAGA’s strongest warrior in his district. It should be crystal clear that as much as Massie paints himself as a non-politician, there is no one who acts more like a lying politician than Massie. He offers no real political solutions, wants to prevent conservative legislation with terrible political skills, and consistently fights against whoever is in government, except when Joe Biden needs the debt ceiling suspended. Thomas Massie’s party identification is simply a byproduct of him wanting to be elected. If Massie was so independent and so popular, why wouldn’t he run as a Libertarian? Is it because they suck, and thus he must mask himself as a Republican? We have Massie at a C+ on our scorecard. There is room for improvement. However, unlike most of the other Cs on our scorecard, if the House Majority was 218-217 with Massie as our swing vote, we would not have gotten the largest funding of ICE ever, we would not have gotten the 2017 Tax Cuts made into law, we would never get E-Verify, we would have not gotten to tax on overtime and tips, we would have not gotten wall funding, and more. At least the other Cs can be bullied into being on the correct side. Massie’s principles magically disappear when he can suddenly hamper the right. He objectively helps the left, and will continue to do so, while calling himself Trump’s biggest soldier. With all that said, vote for Ed.

@JulieBoudicca @AppyOrtho It's not trashy to have kids and to get a degree. This attitude is incredibly elitist. You must be the one on SSRIs currently. Your hatred for working class people is obvious and disgusting. Thankfully, people like you will be outbred by people who actually like children.

@KyPaleo @AppyOrtho It’s not remotely the same. When you have kids, your entire life re-centers around them. Our daughter just spent the semester in Argentina, learning to live in & navigate a foreign country on her own. That’s not the same as taking your kids to Disney bro 🤡

@AppyOrtho I’m a parent. Parenting involves grinding with minimal external reward. While it’s certainly a learning experience, why rush it? Your frontal lobe isn’t even fully developed until 25. Live your life. Travel. Go to college. Read. Expand horizons. Mature. You’ll be a better mother

@StMichael71 They clearly do believe the new rites are valid, it's a controversy among some SSPX faithful and sedevacantists that the SSPX has admitted Novus Ordo clergy without reordination. It's moreso about the security of being able to continue ordinations plus confirmation for thousands

It's a good question why the SSPX thinks they deserve a bishop. If the new rites for Holy Orders are valid, as SSPX claims, there is absolutely no need. If they want to ensure they can break away and form a parallel hierarchy at a moment's notice, no sane Pope will allow that.

Thought experiment re: SSPX. Would an SSPX chapel be happy to have my assistance hearing Confessions? If YES, it seems whatever emergency might exist isn't bad enough to have a parallel hierarchy. If NO, then it is pretty clear they aren't in communion with me personally.

KYPaleo@KyPaleo

@MichaelPer2144 @certcertifiied @TheBadTrad @timotheeology The SSPX do not have a parallel hierarchy. The Orthodox do. Also, Pope Francis said all religions are a path to God, so really, the SSPX is a valid path to God and salvation and we can't critique them. Everyone kiss your Angelus Press 1962 missal like JP2 kissed the Quran.

@NiwaLimbu1988 I don't see why a Society priest would leave, knowing the Society Bishops were considered excommunicated from 1988 to the 2000s. And if you joined more recently, you still had to know the SSPX was in a gray area with Rome. This doesn't make much sense to me.

SSPX UPDATE 40.0: It is reported there were some interesting comments in last Sunday's sermon at the SSPX England Woking Chapel about there being a possible shortage of priests after the Consecrations in July. The priest there (An American one) implied some priests might decide to leave the Society and so Mass times will be changing soon to accommodate this problem.

@certcertifiied Nobody has ever made such a claim. Rather, most people in the Novus Ordo contracept and do not believe in many core Catholic doctrines. They have 1.9 kids, and then those kids have a 15-25% chance to stay Catholic, best case. Sorry you've had those issues. That is tragic.

@certcertifiied It's not a question of personal holiness, which I never claimed to be. It's just insane to me that JP2, Francis, Leo, and even Benedict all did and said incredibly heterodox things, but ultimately the meanie trads are the source of scorn for the dying conciliar church.
