@Benefactor0101 I really do love the project, which is why I actually bought MORE Founders Nodes when able, but please don't go against some of the foundations of the ecosystem in an attempt to pump the coin with staking. Gala can do a better job with transparency, marketing and PR as well.

@Benefactor0101 Hey Eric, I have been operating 4 x Gala Founders Nodes for many years now, and recently bought five more on the peer-to-peer marketplace. I love the project, and am definitely in it for the long haul. I do have some questions/concerns.

Pay attention! In mid June we will implement phase Alpha of the 1m node staking requirement. In the Alpha phase node operators will need to have in their Gala.com account $GALA in any form including allowance in order to receive distribution. Operators will receive rewards proportional to the fulfillment of the staking requirement. Example: If you would have earned 1,000,000 Gala and you only have 250,000 Gala in your account you will receive 25% of the reward which is 250,000 Gala. The remaining 750,000 Gala will be split between nodes that have met the requirement. Future phases will bring the dead nft burning for $gstake and pending legal approval the ability for staking on other nodes.

@Benefactor0101 I am also curious why Gala can't be traded on Coinbase any more. If you are looking to pump the coin price, working with them to get listed again could definitely help make it more accessible to retail investors.

@PiotrFXCrypto @Benefactor0101 Exactly, if someone recently bought one node on the p2p marketplace, and is running it every day like they should be to support the ecosystem, they are getting about 200 Gala PER DAY. At that rate, it would take them over 10 years to get 1 Million Gala.

@KyleJohnBlake @Benefactor0101 vote is a first thing, second ( mbe im wrong ) it will lead to centralization, ppl with one node will be forced to sell instead of buying 1 mil of Gala, looks like small node operators are going to be punished

@Benefactor0101 Also why 1 million Gala? And to clarify, is the rule that someone must stake 1 million Gala PER NODE? That would be a little ridiculous. Node operators are only being given one month heads up for this, which is unfair to those who have supported the project from the beginning.
