@KyleTreasure idk for whatever reason democrats really became associated w late arriving deadlines during the COVID era. I think properly administrated mail-in ballot programs (see: Florida) are a great idea, but certain models (see: California) are so horrendous it damages the whole concept.

I really struggle to see why the idea of requiring all ballots to be received by the close of polls on election day is controversial. Elections need immediate winners. Letting results drag on for weeks because an unknown number of possible ballots may arrive is just an awful idea

@wanderingdave 100% it’s one of the biggest reasons people don’t congregate in summer imo!

@KyleTreasure The total lack of shade in public places in this state baffles me and will continue to become more necessary. I push for it when talking with leaders, planners etc at every chance I get.

I'm hiking around SLC at the end of May. I've already done a ton of hikes in the area and need more! Here for recs! Things I like on trails - sharp peaks - great views - wildlife (marmots, moose, goats, bighorn) - Loved Lake Blanche/Sundial, Pfeifferhorn/Red Pine, Raymond - Lakes with that blue glacial silt - Wildflowers Want hikes big and small for rest days!

I’m not likely to meet my future husband at the club, but I am likely to meet him at Project Hail Mary in IMAX opening night so here we go
