I couldn't get into Treasury Questions to ask @Jesse_Norman about the Loan Charge today. These are the points I would have made:

A Treasury spokesperson has just told me: “We have received Sir Amyas Morse’s report into the loan charge. We are considering his report as a matter of urgency, and will update on next steps in due course.” #loancharge

The editor has very kindly published this article early and lifted the paywall. The article responds to a colleague's which was seeking to justify the loan charge.

I learned today of another company. £3m turnover, employ 35+ staff & the Loan Charge will bankrupt them. Really bright economic sense, let alone the terrible human consequences & at least 5 attributable suicides to the LC. @sajidjavid @BorisJohnson @fsb_policy @The_IoD #SaveLives
