RIP to arguably the most courageous and consequential activist artist of the 20th, a man who used his personal resources to help sustain the Black Freedom movement, a man about whom I wrote, and one of the most beautiful and humorous souls I had the privilege to call my friend!❤️

@HamlinIsland I am a Christian. I also understand art. Some call it blasphemy- but why? Because they didn’t like the art? I don’t get it. I think your jacket clearly states who you serve and was beautifully crafted by a gifted artist. I understood the message.

After talking with my parents I understand how my coat could have offended some people. It was never my intentions to hurt or disrespect anyone, the coat is abstract art to me. It says Eternal which I am Eternally thankful to my Savior! (1/2)
