Mormons, if you believe Brigham Young and Joseph Smith were true prophets of god, then you worship their god, the one they identified as Adam (Michael, the Ancient of Days), whom Young explicitly called “our Father and our God, and the only God with whom we have to do.” Brigham declared it plainly, Adam came into Eden with a celestial body, brought Eve (one of his wives), helped organize the world, and is the literal father of our spirits and even of Jesus in the flesh. He said this doctrine came by revelation, and those who reject it risk their salvation. So worry less about Christians believing the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity (which you already reject anyway) and more about the fact that your prophets pointed you to Adam as the god you have to do with. If they were wrong on something this central, the whole foundation crumbles. If they were right, own the implications instead of dodging them.

There will always be bad actors, But the LDS Church is light years ahead of any other group when it comes to incidents of sexual abuse. Based on available data, If you were to compare Abuse incidents to Number of Days of rain in a calendar year: Public schools, it would rain 35 days a year Catholic Clergy, 14.6 days a year General Male population 3.6 days a year Southern Baptists 1.1 days a year But for LDS, it would rain 1 day every 12.5 years.

My LEAST Latter-day Saint opinion is that I don't think the Second Coming will be anytime soon. Certainly not in my lifetime. And I think this because as a whole the world is becoming a much, much better place.
