Thoughts: 1. Sad to see Battaglia go, not because the trade is bad but because I had high hopes for him after his D+1, but the reality is, he has shown massive regression this year in the OHL. 2. This is one of the more random trades I’ve seen as a Flames fan. #Flames

@JLazzy23 just learn the rule it isn't hard. NHL goalie interference (Rule 69) disallows goals when an attacking player impairs the goalkeeper’s ability to move freely in their crease or initiates, voluntary or involuntary, significant contact with them, inside or outside the crease.

That is a HORSESHIT call on Chris Kreider. He is outside the blue paint and Wedgewood initiates the contact outside of the crease. FIX GOALIE INTERFERENCE.

@PeteBlackburn And as a Flames fan I'm pretty underwhelmed with the package even with the 1st. Poitras might be a middle 6 player but lately hasn't been trending in the right direction and the Flames have Lohrei already in Kevin Bahl. I prefer the rumoured Detroit package N. Danielson + 1st

My initial thought is if the Bruins trade Poitras/Lohrei for Andersson extended, I'm a happy man. But if there's a 1st attached (especially TOR's)...you're losing me a bit

@NHLsuperfan85 @wincolumnCGY He was the main problem in the game prior tho! He played lazily and took 2 terrible penalties that completely changed the flow of the game. When your team plays like that and takes 8 or 9 penalties you need to send a message and bench someone

@wincolumnCGY Sure, hasn't looked great but he's far from the problem. Scratching your best goal scorer when searching for goals is definitely a choice

@wincolumnCGY I don't understand people disagreeing with him being scratched he was super lazy and took 2 terrible penalties. He completely deserved to be scratched, it's not like 1 game is either going to ruin his development or ruin the Flames season

I just don't think I can play NHL 25 anymore. Second straight year I've had to quit the current game. Maybe I suck but it just doesn't feel like it rewards the right things & only makes me want to jump out of a window

@PeteBlackburn Let's face it the game peaked with NHL 08 for fun, 09 became more "realistic" and a lot less fun. Other than making the game more arcadey and focusing on fun I don't think I'll play again
