Selina, thanks for the update. I am glad to hear that there will be no primaries for the governor or Lieutenant governor. Now, the focus can be on the candidates, getting out their messages and getting out the vote , rather than waiting until August. The primaries are also bad because it actually keeps people from donating until the actual candidate is selected!

I'm back from the convention. Ryan Fazio is the endorsed candidate. Betsy conceded, although I'm sure she was disappointed and I wish she'd gotten more votes. [Yes, I voted for her, only one of 5] Some RTC town rules allow - or demand - that the delegates vote as a bloc. No, I don't know which ones those are and I'm glad Ansonia isn't one. @MattCoreyCT was nominated by @CraigFishbein with a most engaging poem [Well done, sir!] and is now our candidate for Lt Gov [Congrats!] His opponent got 20% and could have primaried, but conceded in a lovely and unifying speech to close out the convention. Also, the 3rd district is no longer contested as Izziary stepped down so now @Christo12260413 will get to work. Please support all the candidates! Donate, knock doors, make calls or texts. Organize or help with a fund raiser or meet and greet. Talk to friends about the policies in CT. Offer to drive people to the polls. Get with @Unite4Freedom to help with election integrity. Sign up with @LMHerger to help register new Repubican voters in swing towns, or even volunteer to work the polls. If we want something different in CT, it's up to use to create it.

Awesome! We need to end political tricks, engineered to steal elections!
Unite4Freedom@Unite4Freedom

THE RULE OF LAW WILL NOT BEND FOR CONVENIENCE The Supreme Court just delivered a monumental victory for constitutional order by vacating Alabama’s racially gerrymandered, court-enforced congressional map - right in the middle of a primary. For too long, activist lower courts have weaponized race-conscious redistricting under the guise of "protection." SCOTUS just drew a hard line in the sand, standing firmly behind the precedent set in Louisiana v. Callais. The message from the High Court is loud and clear: The Constitution demands that we allocate political power based on citizens, not race. Naturally, the legacy media and partisan groups are screaming "chaos" because ballots are already in the air for the May 19 primary. But true civil rights are rooted in the strict, unbiased adherence to the law - not a rush to meet a calendar deadline with unconstitutional maps. If an election process is built on a flawed, racially segregated foundation, it is neither valid nor certifiable. It takes immense judicial courage to make the tough decisions necessary to secure our elections. SCOTUS is proving they are willing to do the hard work to ensure that our election architecture is legally sound, fair to every individual citizen, and fully aligned with the Constitution. No shortcuts. No racial quotas. Just equal protection under the law. #SCOTUS #ElectionValidity #RuleOfLaw #Alabama #Constitution #U4F

Bob Godfrey: giving away tax dollars like candy, but never for the middle classes in CT who PAY all the taxes. State Representative Bob Godfrey , Bob Godfrey (Democrat), recently sent out this postcard (photo attached) to people in his district (110th district). He has been in that position since 1989, and grown progressively more radical, following the lead of his party to keep his position. TIME FOR HIM TO GO HOME!!! As he moved his position further to the radical left, Godfrey has completely forgotten about the middle class and working class of CT. All his attention is directed at subsidies, never any tax cuts across the board. Control, control, control of people's lives - to insure you just keep getting elected, always threatening loss of subsidies as your weapon... Godfrey's flyer states, "Protecting CT Healthcare from the chaos and corruption of Washington". I would like to challenge Godfrey's claims. Over the past 15-20 years, since the Dems obtained Uniparty status in CT, with their control of the Governor's office, and a super majority in the legislative branch, CT has come under more scrutiny for corruption and wasteful spend of our tax dollars, already the 3rd highest taxed state in the Union! The FBI and DOJ have CT under their watch, and are investigating the thousands of NGO's, many of them in the healthcare area, for being very poor stewards of their grants from CT tax dollars. CT has very few, if any, guardrails on Medicare benefits, consequently, about 1/3 of CT residents are on Medicare. This numbers seems outrageous and indefensible - it means 1M people out of 3.5M people in CT are on Medicare. The federal govt. is not creating chaos, the feds are trying to make all states more accountable for any investments made in the states for healthcare, and other subsidies - insuring the money goes to citizens, that eligibility is thoroughly vetted, and oversight is in place. You only need look at the corruption in CA, OH and MN to see the depth of corruption in healthcare programs. I am sure we have our share of corruption in CT. So, Rep. Godfrey, instead of always crowing about spend, spend, spend, why don't you explain how you and Connecticut Office of the Attorney General will work with VP Vance's new Fraud Task Force to clean up our corruption in CT? Or will the two of you just join together to create more costly lawsuits (which CT citizens pay for!) to stonewall the feds.? 'Vance demands all 50 states crack down on Medicaid fraud or lose funds — after halting $1.3B to California hospices' shorturl.at/ihPcY Let's all watch and see what our CT govt. does to stop corruption in our state...it might even mean they can reduce our income tax!

It All Makes Sense Now… Back on June 11, 2025, I started laying out the breadcrumbs. People laughed. People denied it. People called it “conspiracy.” Now the connections are becoming impossible to ignore. The Chairman of the Connecticut Republican Party, Ben Proto — while serving as the leader of the CT GOP, has also been acting as legal counsel for developer Stephen Shapiro and Gold Coast Properties on major workforce and affordable housing projects tied to controversial zoning battles across Connecticut. At the same time: • Towns across Connecticut are being dragged into expensive 8-30g lawsuits • Republican towns are fighting high-density housing developments • Developers are profiting • Local control is being weakened • And political insiders are all connected behind the scenes The same establishment figures telling grassroots conservatives to “fall in line” are working alongside the same development interests benefiting from Democrat-backed housing policies. Now ask yourself: Why would the Chairman of the CT Republican Party be representing developers tied to aggressive affordable housing expansion projects against Connecticut towns? Why are the same political insiders connected to these zoning battles also involved in controlling convention politics and gatekeeping outsider candidates? The people of Connecticut deserve transparency. The political machine depends on silence. That silence is breaking. 🇺🇸 The breadcrumbs were there the whole time. Now the full picture is starting to come together. stratfordcrier.com/stratford-zoni… 👈🏾🕵🏾‍♂️🇺🇸 🌐 DeBarrosForCongress.org 💰 Support the Campaign: WinRed Contribution Link secure.winred.com/de-barros-for-… Anedot Contribution Link secure.anedot.com/de-barros-for-… Paid for by De Barros for Congress Committee

I recently donated to support Connecticut's efforts to promote transparency in local elections. It's crucial that we give voice to candidates challenging entrenched incumbents. Every contribution helps spread awareness and empowers voters. Please consider sharing or donating to this cause. Together, we can make a difference in CT's political landscape. gofund.me/5d230c71f

So now Trump is responsible for hunger in Cuba. That is a total fantasy …a lie. I visited Cuba when Obama briefly opened it to flights and visits by Americans. What I saw is exactly as it is described in the posts: people standing in line for hours to get some small bit of food, and empty shelves in every government grocery store. In the meantime, tourists were able to get whatever they wanted in the western style hotels… and you constantly saw piles of hundred dollar US currency being counted in the hotels an restaurants, $$$$$ that the Cubans were happy to accept in these hotels and western restaurants. What the communist had done in Cuba is immoral and disgusting. People live lives of total desperation, while the politicians at the top live off the money of the tourist who don’t see any of the pain and suffering, for the most part, that the Cubans endure. Most of the buildings in Havana do not even have windows and many are held up by broken down old pieces of wood even the capitol in Havana is a shell. I asked someone about this.: the problem is that Cuba can produce nothing and yet they can import nothing. People live quietly in desperation while the politicians never go hungry and get rich. It is disgusting.

@overton_news A more logical and sane look at this situation would point back to Trump’s embargo on Cuba back in 2019, that makes financing and importing a nightmare and led to them unifying their currency as a last ditch effort to get around it.

Nick Shirley just revealed the STRANGEST answer he got from a Cuban on his trip. He described a reality so disturbing it exposes exactly how the government’s control destroys everyday freedom. SHIRLEY: “One person said they haven’t had eggs in a year.” “They talk about these books that they have, I think they call them their ration book, where the government controls how much food they get and they’re like, this is horrible. We haven’t even had eggs in a year. It takes years to get to eat a chicken.” “Stuff that you wouldn’t even think about here in the United States. But because of communism and the government controlling what people can actually do and what they can eat, it dictates their entire life.” This is the nightmare communism delivers.

The only way to change this is to get out and VOTE RED in November 2026. It is difficult to understand how people will complain online all day, and every day, and then stay home on Election Day ???? If we don’t vote, nothing will ever change. How do we get people out to vote?

Governor Lamont, this action by your Uni party, to unmask ICE agents is strictly performative and will not stand: this action was only done to try and garner the votes of your favorite voting block, and @ChrisMurphyCT ‘s favorite voting block : (the 250k illegals you allowed to flood our state). We all know you have figured out how to let them vote. “Corrupticut” is not just a meme, it is your way to win elections and keep control!! Perhaps you and your drones in Hartford should have done a Google search before you started advertising this big success. 😄 It will not stand. “As of May 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court has not issued a final ruling on state bans regarding masks for ICE agents. However, lower federal courts have blocked California's ban on masked federal agents, with the 9th Circuit determining such bans likely violate the Constitution's supremacy clause.”

@Deetodeeme @CTSenateGOP @SenatorBerthel @SenHarding30 Hi, @ you are 100% correct? How do we change this? I was thinking to create a list of all people who agree to vote against the dems…asking people to sign up and then doing my/our best to get these people to the polls. Voting is the only way to win back our state.

Half the people commenting here have no idea that they let this happen. Republicans are out numbered 3 to 1 in both chambers. You dont get action with rage posts, you get involved in the process to change the outcomes. Ive seen it reported that nearly 100,000 registered voters did not show up to vote in one of CTs 5 Congressional districts! Democrats show up enmass, conservatives rage post. Get involved or your lose your state. Its that simple.

CT Democrats are continuing their assault on homeschool, private, and parochial school families. Tonight, H.B. 5468, a bill that targets thousands of people who have shown up, spoken out, submitted testimony, and exercised their right to choose the type of education that’s best for their children, will be debated on the Senate floor. Our Republican senators will continue to fight and stand up for your parental and educational freedoms!

@LeaderJohnThune call the Senate back to pass the SAVE ACT! I, and many others, are no longer sure what side you are on? Voter Integrity or continuing the corrupt and fraudulent system we currently have? You should resign if you will not follow the people’s directive : PASS THE SAVE ACT! @Unite4Freedom
ThePersistence@ScottPresler

By the way, while you’re working your behind off to take care of your families, the Senate is on another 9-day paid vacation. They don’t have time to pass the SAVE America Act, but they do have time for a 9-day vacation.

King Lamont, the federal government is not inconsistent; all of the government agencies have made it crystal clear: no more fraud providing billions to illegals (YOUR VOTING BLOCK). You have used the 18k NGO’s in CT as your money laundering platform, pushing billions to them to gain a 3rd term with illegal voting…the game is over. Like Walz in MN, your fraud and abuse of taxpayer money and illegal voting is being exposed by the DOJ and the FBI.
