🚨 Exposed 🚨 Women’s Protection or Political Weapon? The Jethwani Case Exposes Naidu’s Double Standards The Kadambari Jethwani case increasingly raises questions about whether the @ncbn government used the language of women’s protection to pursue political objectives rather than justice. After returning to power, the coalition government projected Jethwani solely as a victim of police excesses. Ministers, ruling-party leaders, @naralokesh, the Home Minister @Anitha_TDP and sections of the Yellow media repeatedly alleged illegal detention, torture and conspiracy by senior IPS officers who had served under the previous Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy government. However, the documented judicial process tells a different story. Jethwani was arrested only after businessman Kukkala Vidyasagar filed an extortion complaint. Police registered an FIR, obtained court permission, secured a transit warrant from a Mumbai magistrate, brought her to Vijayawada, conducted a medical examination and produced her before the competent court, which ordered judicial remand. Even police custody was authorised by the court and conducted in the presence of her lawyer and revenue officials. Equally significant, Jethwani did not complain of physical torture before the Mumbai court, during remand proceedings, in her bail or quash petitions, or while challenging police custody. In her later statement, she explicitly said there was no physical harassment during custody and that neither she nor her family had been taken to the Dr. NTTPS Guest House or any other government guest house. Yet allegations of torture and secret detention were widely circulated as established facts. These claims became the basis for action against senior police officers. DGP-rank officer P.S.R. Anjaneyulu was arrested and spent 36 days in judicial custody, while former Vijayawada Police Commissioner Kanthi Rana Tata, IPS officer Vishal Gunni and others were booked, suspended and publicly portrayed as conspirators before any court determined their guilt. Their reputations and careers suffered immense damage. The political objective was evident: by targeting officers associated with the previous government, the coalition sought to portray the earlier police establishment as an instrument of political oppression. Meanwhile, Jethwani received exceptional government support, including police escorts, protocol assistance, star-hotel accommodation and special darshan at the Vijayawada Durga Temple, reinforcing the perception that her case had become a political campaign. The biggest contradiction has now emerged from the present government's own CID. Its charge sheet names Jethwani as the sole accused under Section 384 IPC, concluding that she used threats and intimidation to extort money from Vidyasagar. It relies on banking, electronic and documentary evidence to support the original complaint. Although a charge sheet is not a conviction and Jethwani is entitled to defend herself in court, it clearly establishes that the original extortion case was not fabricated. This leaves the government with a serious question: if its own CID has found evidentiary support for the original complaint, what justified the arrest, suspension and public humiliation of senior IPS officers accused of manufacturing a false case? The Yellow media, which amplified unverified allegations while ignoring court records and Jethwani’s own statements, also owes the public an explanation. Protecting women requires impartial investigation, evidence and due process, not selective narratives that become political weapons. The Jethwani case increasingly appears to be less about women's justice and more about using one complaint to target officers, discredit a previous government and create political theatre. The CID charge sheet has exposed the contradictions at the centre of that campaign.

Democracy must not only be upheld, but must also be seen to be upheld. The protests by students and young people in New Delhi should be handled with responsibility and sensitivity. Governments must listen to their genuine concerns and work towards meaningful solutions. Peaceful protest is a fundamental democratic right. At the same time, everyone should exercise restraint and ensure that the protests remain peaceful. The NEET paper leak has shaken the confidence of students and parents in the examination system. This makes it essential to introduce comprehensive reforms that improve transparency, security, and accountability in the conduct of examinations. In Andhra Pradesh too, evidence has emerged regarding leaks, irregularities, and malpractice in the DSC examinations. Instead of treating the issue as a political controversy, an impartial inquiry by an independent agency is needed. Whether it is NEET or DSC, there should be no compromise when it comes to the future of students. Bringing out the truth, fixing systemic flaws, and taking strict action against those responsible is the duty of every democratic government.

@ncbn గారూ… “ఆరోగ్య శ్రీ’’పై మీకు ఎందుకింత కక్ష? పేదల సంజీవనికి ఉరివేసేలా దుర్మార్గపు చర్యకు ఎందుకు దిగుతున్నారు? వైద్యం ఖర్చు రూ.25 లక్షలు అయినా సరే ప్రజలకు ఉచితంగా అందించేలా మా ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో తీర్చిదిద్దిన ఈ పథకాన్ని ఎందుకు నాశనం చేస్తున్నారు? ఏ స్వార్థ ప్రయోజనాలు ఆశించి దీన్ని దెబ్బకొడుతున్నారు? కోటిన్నర కుటుంబాల ఆరోగ్య బాధ్యతను ఇక ఎవరు తీసుకుంటారు? అధికారంలోకి రాగానే ఒక ప్లాన్‌ ప్రకారం “ఆరోగ్య శ్రీ’’ని నిర్వీర్యంచేసిన మాట వాస్తవం కాదా? మీకు ఆ ఉద్దేశం ఉంది కాబట్టే నెట్‌వర్క్‌ ఆస్పత్రులకు ఇవ్వాల్సిన డబ్బులు నిలిపేసి, దాదాపు రూ.3వేల కోట్లు బకాయిలు పెట్టారు. ఆస్పత్రులకు వెళ్తే ఆరోగ్య శ్రీ లేదనే మాట వినిపిస్తున్నా ఎందుకు ఎలాంటి చర్యలూ తీసుకోలేదు? ఈ 8 నెలల కాలంలో ప్రజలు అప్పులు చేసో, ఆస్తులు తాకట్టుపెట్టో వైద్యం చేయించుకోవాల్సిన దుస్థితి ఎందుకు వచ్చింది? బకాయిలు ఇవ్వకపోతే సేవలన్నీ నిలిపేస్తామని నెట్‌వర్క్‌ ఆస్పత్రులు చెప్తున్నా ఎందుకు పట్టించుకోలేదు? ప్రజల ఆస్తిగా వైయస్సార్‌సీపీ సృష్టించిన 17 మెడికల్‌ కాలేజీలను స్కాంచేస్తూ మీ మనుషులకు అమ్మేస్తున్న పద్ధతిలోనే ఇప్పుడు ప్రజల ప్రాణాలను పణంగా పెడుతూ ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ సేవలను కూడా ప్రైవేటుకు అప్పగించడం నిజం కాదంటారా? ప్రైవేటు బీమా కంపెనీలు వేసే కొర్రీలతో పాలసీదారులు పడుతున్న అవస్తలు మనకు కనిపిస్తూనే ఉన్నాయి కదా చంద్రబాబుగారు. మరి ఆరోగ్యశ్రీని వారికి అప్పగిస్తే.. వారు వేసే కొర్రీలతో జనం ఇబ్బంది పడరా? లాభార్జనే వారి ధ్యేయం అయినప్పుడు ప్రజాప్రయోజనాలు ఎంతవరకు సాధ్యం? కోవిడ్‌వంటి కొత్త రోగాలతో, అరుదైన వ్యాధులతో, ప్రమాదాల సమయంలో ప్రభుత్వం తన విచక్షణాధికారాన్ని వాడుకుని బాధితులకు ఆరోగ్యశ్రీని అందించి ఎంతోమందిని కాపాడుకుంది. ప్రొసీజర్ల జాబితా వ్యాధుల సంఖ్యను పెంచి మానవతా దృక్పథంతో స్పందించి ప్రభుత్వం అనేక మార్లు ఆదుకుంది. మరి ప్రైవేటు కంపెనీలు ఈ పని చేయగలవా? మీరు చేయించగలరా? విజయవాడ వరద బాధితులకు బీమా విషయంలో మీరు ఇచ్చిన హామీ ఎండమావేనని తేలిపోయిన మాట వాస్తవం కాదా? ఇంత మంది ప్రజలు నష్టపోయినా మీరు చేసిన మేలు ఏమిటి? చంద్రబాబుగారూ… నాలుగు సార్లు సీఎం అయ్యానని గొప్పలు చెప్పుకుంటారు. కాని, పేదలకు ఉచితంగా నాణ్యమైన వైద్యం అందించాలని మీరు ఎప్పుడైనా అనుకున్నారా? ఏరోజైనా ఆ ప్రయత్నంచేశారా? పోనీ దివంగత మహానేత వైయస్సార్‌గారు దేశంలో తొలిసారిగా ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ రూపంలో ఒక గొప్ప పథకాన్ని తీసుకు వస్తే దాన్ని బలోపేతంచేసేలా ఒక్కపనైనా చేశారా? వైయస్సార్‌సీపీ ప్రభుత్వం వచ్చాక ఉచితంగా చికిత్స అందుకునే ప్రొసీజర్ల సంఖ్యను 1,000 నుంచి 3,257కి పెంచాం. మేనిఫెస్టోలో వాగ్దానంచేసినట్టుగా సంవత్సరాదాయం రూ.5లక్షలలోపు ఉన్నవారికి కూడా వర్తింపచేసి మధ్యతరగతివారికీ మేలు చేశాం. రూ.25లక్షల వరకూ ఉచిత వైద్యాన్ని తీసుకుపోయి పేదవాడికి మంచి చేశాం. ఐదేళ్లకాలంలో 45.1లక్షల మందికి రూ.13,421 కోట్లు ఖర్చుచేసి ఉచితంగా వైద్యాన్ని అందించాం. చికిత్స తర్వాత కోలుకునేందుకు దేశంలోనే ఎక్కడాలేని విధంగా, చికిత్స అనంతరం విశ్రాంతి సమయంలో పేషెంటుకు తోడుగా నిలుస్తూ ఆరోగ్య ఆసరా పథకాన్ని తెచ్చి, దానికింద మరో రూ.1,465 కోట్లు అందించి రూ. 24.59 లక్షల మందికి ఆరోగ్య ఆసరాగా నిలిచాం. మేం కల్పించిన ఈ ఆసరాను, భరోసాను ఇప్పుడు పూర్తిగా తీసేస్తున్నారు. కొత్తగా అంబులెన్స్‌లు తీసుకు వచ్చి 104,108 సేవలను మేం మెరుగుపరిస్తే, మీరు నెలల తరబడి బకాయిలుపెట్టి ఆ అంబులెన్స్‌ సేవలను సైతం నిర్వీర్యం చేశారు. చంద్రబాబుగారు… బాబు ష్యూరిటీ- భవిష్యత్తుకు గ్యారంటీ అని ఎన్నికల్లో మీరు ఊదరగొట్టారు. తీరా అధికారంలోకి వచ్చాక మీర్చిన సూపర్‌ సిక్స్‌, సూపర్‌ సెవెన్‌ అంటూ ఇచ్చిన హామీలను ఎలాగూ ఎగరగొడుతున్నారు. మేం ఇచ్చిన పథకాలనూ రద్దుచేస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు కోటిన్నర కుటుంబాల ఆరోగ్యానికి ష్యూరిటీ లేదు కదా, ఉన్న గ్యారంటీని తీసేశారు. ప్రజలకు నష్టంచేసే మీ చర్యలను తీవ్రంగా ఖండిస్తున్నాను. వెంటనే ఆరోగ్యశ్రీని యథాతథంగా ఉంచి అమలు చేయాలని ప్రజల తరఫున డిమాండ్‌ చేస్తున్నాను.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁: 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗺! 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲'𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲? Port led development provides enormous potential for economic development of the successor State of Andhra Pradesh. With this consciousness, the YSRCP Government ensured commendable progress with respect to development of three ports at Ramayapatnam, Machilipatnam and Mulapeta. The YSRCP Government ensured completion of all the crucial tasks such as land procurement, statutory approvals including financial closure, with respect to all three ports. The YSRCP Government also executed the EPC contracts for completion of the projects and also ensured significant physical progress with respect to the three ports before June, 2024. Some of the examples of economic development that are completely attributable to the Ramayapatnam port demonstrating significant progress are the BPCL’s upcoming greenfield refinery and petrochemical complex and Indosol Solar’s Giga Scale manufacturing plant. The BPCL plant is in close proximity to the port with a refining capacity of 9-12 MMTPA and an estimated investment of over Rs. 1 lakh crore, capitalizing on the port’s deep water capabilities to import crude oil. The Indosol facility is designed as a fully integrated "quartz-to-module" ecosystem and for the project, proximity to the deep-water Ramayapatnam Port is crucial for importing raw materials and exporting the final finished solar modules efficiently. Further JSW Steel is developing two berths in Ramayapatnam port, and the primary purpose of which is handling bulk raw materials such as iron ore and coking coal, needed for the integrated steel plant that JSW Steel is constructing in the YSR Kadapa district. All these projects contribute immensely in generating employment to thousands of individuals and also in increasing State's own revenues. While there so many economic advantages associated possible from the development of Ramayapatnam port, both in terms of securing investments to the State and also contributing significantly to the Tax and Non-tax revenues of the State Government, all that the TDP Government can think of is, the means to turn the Ramayapatnam port into a scam to generate cash flows for the bigwigs of the TDP. The TDP Government is offering a port on which, the Government is spending Rs. 4,929 crores against an upfront payment of only Rs. 1,500 crores by private parties, causing significant loss to the State exchequer, with the State Government having to endure the debt servicing burden to the tune of over Rs. 3,500 crores!
