@_karateChris He’s averaging 21/6/6.5/1.5 stocks per game on the year Since 12/31, it’s 23.5/6.5/6.5/2 stocks That’s absolutely an all star reserve box score. Probably why he was ranked 8th by fans, 8th by players, and 9th by media

@startkyIeorton Caleb is so interesting in the way that it’s extremely obvious that no one ever tried to teach him how offense works past “throw ball” BUT also that he’s apparently smart and would’ve probably loved to learn it lol

As I've said the funniest part of the Ty Dunne article is that those coaches were correct that Caleb eventually just became insubordinate and tuned them out. They just aren't self-aware enough to realize he did that bc he knew it was the best way to protect his own development.
The Cap Is a Myth@The_Cap_is_Fake

@startkyIeorton Also, "why wasn't Caleb taking notes in his coaches meetings on hard knocks?" lol

@NatureBoyNiko @Shane00 “Defense” and it’s everyone on defense with the back to their mark And there are more offensive plays in 1 game of today’s NBA than you’d see in 5 90s games Defense is better today. Offense is better today Get over yourself

@Shane00 Yes, if you take your eyes off of one player…You will see everyone is playing defense. And on offense, you actually see plays in formation and not just 3 people waiting for a kick back 3. It is obviously visible the effort on both sides of the ball.

This map is not factual. It does show that Africa is incredibly diverse. But What George Peter Murdorck failed to understand in all his years of doing Anthropology work was that pre-colonial Africa was not defined by ethnicity nor language. Africa has never been a continent of isolated tribes. Tribes were intermingled and communities were mostly decentralized. The map makes it look like every group lived in a strictly defined bubble with hard borders. In reality, African moved, traded, and intermarried constantly. Borders were often fuzzy zones of influence, not lines in the sand. Also ethnic identities and tribes were fluid. If one moved to a new area, married into a different group, or joined a different chiefdom, their identity could shift over a generation. And lands moved and changed as people also did

@Octavius_42 @goodnesswfists @TheBlackHorse65 Yes, that was the contemporary view — but with hindsight, we can see that the civil war mirrors WWI extremely closely It took 100 years, but with the historical eye we can see that the civil war ended up being the precursor to 20th century warfare

@goodnesswfists @TheBlackHorse65 Quite the opposite, aside from a few advancements like ironclads or the use of spotting baloons, the US civil war was regarded as a technologically backwards war for European standards, closer to the Napoleonic wars than anything "modern".

This is just embaressing. In 1863 the Confederate Army peaked in strength at ~450k, most of whom had almost no training. In 1870 Prussia fielded 949,337 men in the Franco-Prussian war, 730,274 of whom were trained regulars. The Prussian Krupp C64 steel breech-loading guns also wildly outclassed Confederate artilery. Prussian officers were veterans of repeated campeigns in Europe, and trained in the first modern staff schools, the finest of their era by far. These two forces don't belong in the same discussion.

The Confederate States Army would have rolled any contemporary European army like a barrel.

@BheeksBlout @CHGOsportsguy18 @Jake_B30 I’m watching the game, relaxing for a day, then turning on the all 22 And “productive” tells me a lot here. The number on the stat sheet doesn’t keep jobs. Good decisions with the ball does, and Swift absolutely won’t keep his job

@LTMF24 @CHGOsportsguy18 @Jake_B30 I feel like it mainly depended on the defense we played against. If he's good it works and he gets good yards, but if it doesn't work then we get nothing

@BheeksBlout @CHGOsportsguy18 @Jake_B30 Yes. If you turn on the tape, he missed the correct hole more often than he followed the blocks He’s athletic and it worked out semi frequently, but the coaching staff WILL be searching for his replacement

@tdrviz @vettenoob14 @oldskoolbballx 1) It hilarious that you think using a source that creates a linear regression model would hold any value to these people. They are not smart enough to understand it 2) There’s a ton of meat left of the bone in their calculation. It’s probably more than their calculated +15%

@BruceBartlett ICE is the focus right now, but this is genuinely my thoughts on all law enforcement Law enforcement shouldn’t have guns and should rely on speciality forces when weapons are needed We have all the technology in the world to de-arm the police

My solution to the ICE problem is simply to disarm them. They don't need guns to round up people only guilty of violating the immigration law. ICE should rely on local police for backup in the event that weapons are needed. They are accountable to the local community, ICE isn't.

@fintechbrian @MattisRedacted Absolutely. I think protesting involves carrying signs, chanting slogans, beating drums, etc, Hand on and/or blocking is not peaceful protesting. Arrest is warranted if so. Shooting is not unless there are other circumstances.
