It sounds like you're someone who isn't grounded in reality. The intensity of cravings is less when you gradually reduce. You're only on day one of cravings on the day you reduce to a lower level of nicotine, then your body readjusts to the new level, then you reduce again, and you're gradually reducing your level of dependency until you can stop. I've done it, it works

With nicotine replacement you are constantly at day one cravings. Nobody can withstand that. 20 years some have said they did, ALL turned out to be liars.

@LUFCFan01 @_BasedCow_ @RestoreBritain_ I used patches 18 months ago, gradually reduced, and have been off them since. I did it cold turkey a few times before that and ended up back on it within weeks. It's pretty well documented in scientific literature that gradual reduction is more effective.

@ItsPatRiot_ @_BasedCow_ @RestoreBritain_ Guarantee you are a current nicotine addict. 'Cutting down' makes it MUCH harder to stop, but current addicts think it's the best way. In 20 years of helping people quit I haven't seen a single instance of cutting down working for a single person.
