I started the day at Bushfield Academy with @bphillipsonMP for the launch of the Education White Paper. It was brilliant Peterborough was picked for the launch. Our schools are on the up. And we have so much ambition for our city to fix broken SEND system & improve standards.

A brilliant day meeting apprentices at Gen Phoenix with @PboroCollege as part of National Apprenticeship Week. This is my political drive - boosting apprenticeships & giving young people & career changers the opportunity to get on. #NationalApprenticeshipWeek #NAW2026

I’ve called on Cross Keys Homes & Peterborough Council to end the delays & get on with redeveloping Bretton Court. Thanks to everyone who has been i touch about the issue. This has become an eyesore and needs action.

Good news - a new 7.43 London service coming on @LNER + they have agreed to end dynamic pricing on earlier train to stop advance ticket price hikes. + recognition we need more carriages back on trains. Thanks to everyone who bas been involved in this.

Yet more bad stories at Peterborough from @lner timetable change. Here's the deal: 1. Cut commuter services in new timetable 2. Tell people to travel earlier 3. Shorten length of trains 4. Put prices up on earlier trains to deter travel. It is time LNER apologised and fixed this mess.

How long has the stink being going on Bourges Boulevard? This week I got everyone involved in the same room so we could look at the problem together & come up with a plan to finally deal with this. Thanks to Anglian Water, Highways, council & Peterborough Positive for joining.
