"This harsh new legislation will impact vulnerable groups the most. Last year, the Electoral Commission found that the proportion of people without existing ID is “higher among certain, more disadvantaged groups” including the unemployed (11 per cent without existing ID)..."

"The Government’s own figures suggest that around two million people could be disenfranchised when these rules come into force. But it may be even worse. In 2015, research from the Electoral Commission found that around 3.5 million citizens, do not have access to photo ID."

Later this year, once works have finished, all 41 stations along the line will have some degree of step-free access, either via level boarding or through the use of a manual boarding ramp. But it was not planned to be this way 7 stations were originally designed with no lifts
