‼️ WOW Politico just reported what actually killed Canada’s trade deal with the United States. Not Doug Ford’s ad. Not a tariff dispute. Melanie Joly. She threatened to SUE Stellantis. Then she threatened to CLAW BACK funds from GM. The US auto industry went directly to the White House. Trump pulled the plug on a deal described as imminent. One official said Joly’s actions “inflamed a very important ally.” Another said it was “posturing” that destroyed the relationship. This is the same Joly who: -Never read the $15 billion Stellantis contract she publicly defended -Applauded 49,000 Chinese EVs into Canada while Canadian auto workers lost jobs -Was in Germany at a trade show posting LinkedIn content while all of this collapsed Minister. of. Destruction

@MarkJCarney You don’t stand for freedom and you don’t stand for democracy! You lie like a cheap rug! You bought and paid for five conservatives to cross the floor turning their backs on the people that voted for them! And you cheered! Is that democracy?

@DrJacobsRad @Ruby_Red54 100%. And there are books that have been written about the geography of the United States and also it’s resources and how that has contributed to making it a successful country. We also enjoy that. Now we’re trying to milk that dry and give it to somebody else.

Canada's economy is strong because of our work ethic, our natural resources, our education system, our political freedoms, but also because we won the geographic lottery. Our proximity to the United States gives us immediate access to the world's largest market. Increasing trade with Europe is fine, but it doesn't replace our trade with the United States and it never will. The Trump administration, like every American administration, is timestamped. If you can't get the deal that you need today, don't burn bridges with your immediate neighbor. Wait. The person across the table from you will change soon enough. Trying to realign towards Europe is irresponsible adventurism and quite frankly, Carney was never given that mandate by the Canadian people.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

For the first time, a non-European nation has taken part in the European Political Community Summit. It was an honour to represent Canada in Yerevan, Armenia. In an era of great power rivalry and increasing division, we’re focused on creating more peace, security, and stability in the world.

My wife and I returned from the States this past Saturday after spending six months there getting away from the cold and snow. We went to Coscto on Monday and were shocked on the prices of goods in Canada compared to the States. I'm talking about food items that people need to use/consume in order to live. Throw in alcohol and it's insane how much we as Canadians pay. The only items that seem to be around the same price are chips/chocolate. Prior to coming back to Canada, I bought some diesel oil for my truck. The cost at Walmart in the US, $24 USD, which equals $32.62 Canadian. The cost at Canadian Tire for the EXACT same oil and quantity, $65. While I understand that overhead/labour/etc costs in Canada are higher, there is no way that double the cost can be justified. The problem is that so many "elbows up" Canadians have never left Canada or travelled so they think that Canada is such a great country, when in reality it is severely lacking in so many ways. BTW the US is a great place to visit. Friendly people and never once did we feel unsafe. Don't let the Liberals and legacy media tell you otherwise.

Rob Carrick, a columnist for the Globe and Mail, supports the idea of opening government-owned grocery stores on the premise that “we’ve tried everything else and it didn’t work.” Well, have we? Interprovincial trade barriers are still there. Supply management is still there. The industrial carbon tax is still there. Our poor logistics are still there. Retail price distortions are still there. The overwhelming red tape is still there. Tried everything? Not quite. theglobeandmail.com/investing/pers…

I just completed the 2026 census last night and I'm still shaking my head. Of all of the potentially useful questions they could have asked, multiple questions on my gender and what language I speak (at least 4 on that topic) were absolutely baffling. Not a single question that could actually inform strategy or policy.

I suggest this is one of the reasons so many United churches are closing. They have no solid biblical stance on topics like this. Trying to be woke is not what people seeking truth want to hear. twilight talks: Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) allevents.in/richmond/twili…

UNBELIEVABLE: A United “Church” in Richmond BC, is inviting people to learn more about assisted suicide. Warming them up just ahead of Canada’s eugenic-friendly plan to expand MAiD to people solely with mental illness. Isaiah 5:20, the scripture describing a morally bankrupt society comes to mind.

@Concern70732755 How ironic you mentioned climate change agenda! Norway has accumulated their vast wealth, primarily through their sale of oil and gas, and continue to do so! Canada’s policies on the other hand…

@DianeCox741868 @MarcNixon24 So much to the liberals chagrin Canada’s success on exports hinge on Alberta and Saskatchewan. And we are to blame for that. We have successfully driven out entrepreneurs and producers.

@DianeCox741868 @MarcNixon24 We can celebrate that now, but when energy prices go down. Canada has swung into a trade surplus as of March 2026, recording a balance of C$1.8 billion. This follows six consecutive months of trade deficits and was primarily driven by a surge in energy prices and high-value gold

LIBERALS FAIL AGAIN Canada hands out BILLIONS in EV subsidies… And Honda shelves a $11B plant anyway. Let that sink in. The fall of Canada is accelerating. Maybe this will wake up millions of Canadians.

@MarcNixon24 There was a $5 billion incentive to be paid to Honda but with restrictions so they don’t get that now. But we stuck a fork in it when we agreed to buy 49,000 Chinese vehicles. Japan warned us that they needed access to the US market and CUSMA isn’t going so well. No confidence 👋🏽

@MarcNixon24 I actually don’t believe that much was handed out to Honda in this situation. Honda’s EV plant was going to be built on tax incentives whereas Volkswagen Stellantis are receiving money per unit built so they are incentivize to keep going at this point.
