This is another thing that makes me look a little side eye. The war is not the fault of “AIPAC bought politicians” broadly. It’s the fault of Trump. You could say Bibi or MBS influenced it. But domestically the person to blame is Trump. Throw in Lindsey if you want.

When I was 19 I found out a Zionist had made a list of every American he could find who had criticized Israel. There were tens of thousands of people on the list w/ reasons given for why they deserved to be labeled an enemy target. I was shocked to find my dad on the list because he had signed an anti-war petition. It is laughable to suggest my father is an anti-semite, but he is strongly anti-war. I, being 19 & extraordinarily naive, contacted the maker of the list to explain this was about war, not anti-semitism, and asked him to take down such a dangerous "enemies" list. He responded cheerfully that I was obviously also an "enemy of Israel" because I was opposed to making "enemy lists" and so he added my name to it and wished death upon me. The next 20 years taught me that wasn't a fringe character - that is contemporary media & political policy. The deliberate mixing of criticism of Israel with antisemitism is the actual revolting bad-faith practice and has no place in a polite, free, or (dare we hope one day) loving society.

Oh I just think it’s interesting that Track AIPAC, the org that shares disinformation, is funded by Don Henley, who also gave $500,000 to a Texas super PAC supporting James Talarico. Track AIPAC made it appear that his opponent, Jasmine Crockett, took AIPAC money, but she didn’t.

The striking drone clip of the destruction in Arad in particular is notable - wide aerial shots like this showcase the breadth of the damage, where the entity would normally work so diligently to conceal vulnerability. I think a lot of the intention is revealed in the upper right hand corner of the screen, which features the logo of United Hatzalah, a “volunteer” first responder organization that works directly with the IOF. One could probably compare them to the White Helmets in the propaganda function they perform.
