I first stepped into a BBC News studio at Television Centre in 1994 so 30 years later to return overseeing them at Broadcasting House is a dream come true.

A sad, sad day for those of us who grew up adoring and obsessing over Marvel comics. The great John Romita Sr has died. A wonderful artist and a truly beautiful, kind, generous, compassionate and thoughtful man. He was the rock that provided a gloriously rendered foundation to Marvel in those years when it grew and prospered and became the powerhouse of ideas it is today. Thank you John for sharing your magnificent genius

@mikehakata The streets of Tottenham are very unsafe since the introduction of the LTNs - Surely you are seeing that the crime rates have increased on Philip Lane & West Green Rd? The LTNs are not working and need to be removed!

@mikehakata Trouble is you are not reducing pollution with your scheme.. You are just dispersing it onto the boundary roads.. What about the children on these roads? Do they not matter?

Air pollution is the silent killer. You wouldn't give your kids dirty water or stale food but, because we can't see it we expose them to dangerous levels of polluted air everyday. In cities the main source of poisonous air is motor traffic. Doing nothing is not an option. A 🧵1/

THREAD: Over the past 2 years, since the LTNs were first being discussed in *West Green Ward* I have personally ensured that I listened and we had pre-tweaks that residents and schools in *West Green* asked for. My statement from Dec 21 below This included: Blue Badge Exemption

When an LTN advocate says LTNs cut traffic, they mean on the roads they live on. When they say they’re safer for children, they mean for their kids. And when they say LTNs don’t displace traffic, they mean they don’t actually care that traffic is dumped onto others.

@haringeycouncil Here is your answer. 2000 people marched today and want you to hold a proper public consultation. Many did not receive the information. Much od it was done in 2020 dueing COVID, the advocates were involved early, councillors evade questions and deny us our voice.

The services have been terrible since the LTN'S have been introduced. Devastating for people trying to navigate their everyday lives.

No matter how much the pro LTN self gainers shout out loud they can’t hide the fact that due to there selfishness the bus service has been destroyed !!!!
