The police can FINE you up to £10,000 and 3 points on your license for having bald or minimum tread on your tyres if they find you driving an unroadworthy vehicle. Should the police be able to FINE local councils for unroadworthy roads with potholes?

@but_cyclists 1-15 cars, they have DRL and reflectors Cyclists 1-3 no lights I’d say the ratio of cars is significantly less than cycles, and if cyclists are so vulnerable surely it’s wise to use lights..

Once again this evening, the number of motorists I've seen driving without lights has exceeded the number of people I've seen cycling without lights 🙄

There is something perverse about this video. Bus speeds in London are at their lowest level. Traffic congestion is at its worst ever. Painters, plumbers, delivery vans, cabbies stuck in traffic. Prices rise. Yet none of this seems to matter to LCC's Simon Munk. Myopic.

@Freiheit20001 @CyclingKent101 Oh so it’s about physical space permanently occupied? Then explain why it’s ok to have a cycle lane with hard separation like bollards or pavement, there permanently WITHOUT regular use. If you’re scared of cars seek therapy.

@apchara @CyclingKent101 Yes, changes towards efficient traffic werent made and cars still congest the city. Absolutely, I agree. Cars took too much space before+post pandemic.
