The greatest father in history

Senior Chief Kyle Milliken. United States Navy SEAL. DEVGRU Silver Squadron. A Falmouth, Maine kid who ran track at UConn, graduated in 2001, and enlisted in the Navy the following year with one goal: becoming a Frogman. 15 years in the teams. Four Bronze Stars with Valor across at least 48 combat missions in Iraq alone. On the night of May 4, 2017, Kyle and a small DEVGRU element, alongside Somali Danab commandos, were helo inserted into the village of Daarasalaam, 40 miles west of Mogadishu, to hunt a senior al-Shabaab commander. The team moved through the village in near silence, leaving boot prints in the wet clay and at least five dead enemy fighters behind them. As Kyle stood over the bodies of two enemies his team had just engaged, an al-Shabaab fighter hidden beneath a mango tree opened fire. The shots were fatal. Kyle was medevaced to Djibouti and died of his wounds on May 5, 2017. He was 38 years old.

The difference between Catholics and many Protestants is this; Some Protestants believe that once a person accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, that alone guarantees eternal salvation forever. Catholics, however, believe that following Christ is a lifelong journey of faith, obedience, grace, and perseverance. We believe in; - Believing in Christ in our heart - Confessing Him with our mouth - Keeping His commandments - Living faith through works of love - Receiving Baptism - Receiving the Holy Eucharist - His Body and Blood - Repenting when we fall - Remaining faithful until the end The Catholic understanding of salvation is not that we "earn" Heaven by our own power. Salvation is entirely by God’s grace. But we must COOPERATE with that grace and remain in Christ. That is why Jesus said; “He who endures to the end will be saved.” - Matthew 24:13» So if someone asks me as a Catholic, "Are you saved?" I would say: I was saved. I am being saved. And I hope to be saved as I remain faithful to Christ until the end. Because salvation is not just a one-time moment. It is a lifelong walk with Christ.

People like them should be awarded something serious and honored by the government and multiple other orgs and institutions. This couple created their own noble family lineage. The kind of virtue—the faith, hope, and love that takes is to be admired above all the other nonsense.

Nossa Senhora de Fátima 13 de maio No dia 13 de maio de 1917 as três crianças, Lúcia, Jacinto e Francisca, estavam pastoreando nas colinas, quando sobre uma pequena árvore, surge um clarão e a figura "de uma Senhora vestida de branco, mais brilhante que o sol, reluzindo mais clara e intensa que um copo de cristal cheio de água cristalina, atravessado pelos raios de sol mais ardente". Lúcia, a mais velha, tinha dez anos, e os primos Francisco e Jacinta, nove e sete anos respectivamente. Os três eram analfabetos. As crianças mudam radicalmente. Passam a rezar e a fazer sacrifícios diários. Relatam aos pais e autoridades religiosas o que se passou. Logo, uma multidão começa a acompanhar o encontro das crianças com Nossa Senhora. As mensagens trazidas por Ela pediam ao povo orações, penitências, conversão e fé. As aparições só começaram a ser reconhecidas oficialmente pela Igreja em 13 de outubro, quando sinais extraordinários e impressionantes foram vistos por todos no céu, principalmente no disco solar. Poucos anos depois os primos Francisco e Jacinta morreram. A mais velha tornou-se religiosa de clausura tomando o nome de Lúcia de Jesus e permaneceu sem contato com o mundo por muitas dezenas de anos. O local das aparições de Maria foi transformado num Santuário para Nossa Senhora de Fátima. Reflexão: Em todo o mundo católico é venerada Maria sob o título de Nossa Senhora de Fátima. A Virgem, mãe de Deus e nossa, trouxe ao mundo a mensagem de conversão e encontro com Deus. Com Maria nós aprendemos a buscar Jesus Cristo como nosso único salvador. Que possamos encontrar em Maria um abrigo seguro nos dias de tormenta e dor. Oração: Santíssima Virgem, que nos montes de Fátima vos dignastes revelar aos três pastorinhos os tesouros de graças que podemos alcançar, rezando o Santo Rosário, ajudai-nos a apreciar sempre mais esta santa oração, a fim de que, meditando os mistérios da nossa redenção, alcancemos as graças que insistentemente vos pedimos. Maria Santíssima, volvei vossos olhos misericordiosos para este mundo tão necessitado de Paz, de Saúde e Justiça. Vinde em nosso auxílio, Mãe dos Aflitos, e Socorrei-nos com Vosso Amor e Piedade.
