Liftoff. The Artemis II mission launched from @NASAKennedy at 6:35pm ET (2235 UTC), propelling four astronauts on a journey around the Moon. Artemis II will pave the way for future Moon landings, as well as the next giant leap — astronauts on Mars.

Both of my Uber drivers, tonight, were also Uber religious. Can we say UBER UNCOMFORTABLE!? Oof.

Look At This! March Weather Madness gets even more extreme later this weekend. In Kansas City it may drop from the 60s Sunday morning to the 20s Sunday evening with snow. There is a chance of a blizzard Sunday night. The first few models in this morning are all painting a weather picture something like this. There are still a lot of questions. I just wanted to give you a heads up. More later. I will plan a FB Live early tomorrow morning if this trend continues! Let me know if you have any questions. A major winter storm is centered just southeast of Cape Cod this morning. It is just enough east to slightly limit the impact in New York City, but it is hitting the New England coast hard this morning with near blizzard conditions. It is still producing 5-10 inch amounts in NYC and the winds are causing drifting and blowing of the snow. Expect major flight delays today. This storm is racing off to the northeast and the snow will shut down within 6-12 hours. Back west, temperatures will zoom into the 60s today in Colorado, and tomorrow in Kansas City. It is 8 degrees this morning at KCI Airport, so hang on - the big warm up is coming. #LRC #newyorkcity #winterstorm

Gooooooooood morning! I'm honored to be speaking today at the National Storm Chaser Summit in Westminster, Colorado (4:30 PM today), sharing the story of my lifelong passion for weather, memories of my mentor Gary England, and how the discovery of the Lezak Recurring Cycle (LRC) is helping extend forecasting skill weeks to months in advance. One key message as you take a look at this severe weather outlook for mid-late March: this is not climatology — it is forecasting based on a cycling atmospheric pattern that has already developed this season and is now returning. We are currently watching a recurring storm segment expected to move through the western U.S. and cross the nation between now and around February 20, and some forecast models are just beginning to pick up on rain and snow potential near Kansas City, aligning with what the LRC indicated months ago. As always, the pattern tells us when the atmosphere becomes favorable, while the shorter-range models refine the exact details as we get closer. More updates as we move through the window — so try not to judge the accuracy until later this month, and then later in March for this outlook. Sunny & Rainbow The Weather Dogs at the National Storm Chaser Summit. This is their "Elevator Etiquette" trick. I taught them at a very young age. Yesterday, they were in the elevator with 7 other people and they were this relaxed, but every floor we stopped at they thought they were supposed to get out.

My crow friends swarmed and chased away a hawk, this morning. They run these streets….
