Remember how many lives Tamil Nadu lost in the past decade due to banner culture. Those parties repeatedly filed affidavits assuring courts tht they would stop erecting killer-banners, yet shamelessly continued the practice.

#TVKVijay @TVKVijayHQ government should take a step forward to police reform in Tamil Nadu. Unlike DMK government, it should support trial against Balveer Singh IPS who removed teeth of around 10 suspects & crushed testicles of few. Form a special team to inquire phone-tapping & data theft (from cellphones of arrested suspects) by police officers. Who knows the team may even end up finding phone-tapping of your functionaries. Withdraw cases registered by DMK government against activists, youtubers & journalists, including Savukku Shankar and his team. Keep Alangulam suspended SI Esakkiraja-like cops away from law and order. Appoint honest officers to top posts Please ensure the police officials get no calls from ruling party functionaries, which will help police to legally act against real culprits. Give special attention to trial against cops who were accused of brutal human rights violations. Ensure that working-CCTV cameras are properly installed at all police stations as per SC order. Ensure that talent and eligible people are appointed PPs and GPs in subordinate courts that will ensure public get justice. Ensure the ban on police officers & officals uploading self-praising shorts/reels on social media for likes is implemented properly. Please make Tamil Nadu people really feel that the police are their friends. Ensure hike in police salary as promised and generate more jobs in the dept to implement eight-hour duty model in future.

TVK boys & girls, you can address your president as 'Chief Minister elect C. Joseph Vijay' for now & as 'Chief Minister ' immediately after he completes taking the oath of office & secrecy. I can see people mock at you for not knowing the nuances but it's okay, you will learn as days roll by. Yours is just a two-year-old party. People, who failed to have their ears to the ground and see the change coming, are hiding their inability by making fun of TVK. They are refusing to accept their failure gracefully & recognise your achievement. When a party with just 96 (26.5% votes) seats was able to complete the five year tenure successfully between 2006 & 2011, can't you do with 108 seats? It's easy, it's possible. Confidenta Irunga... And yes, keep in mind that people are waiting for you to make mistakes so that they can pounce on you. Stay focused & do good work without giving room for complaints.. All the best to the young generation of warriors. 💐💐💐

SHAMEFUL CONDUCT BY DELHI POLICE Last night (11 April), at around 10:00 PM, a serving Brigadier’s family encountered two individuals consuming alcohol inside their car (Regn No. DL3CCY 0789) near their residence in Vasant Enclave. Upon objecting to this act of illegal public drinking, the situation escalated. The individuals called for additional support, and soon 7–8 more men arrived in multiple vehicles. These men proceeded to assault the Brigadier’s son, causing significant injuries, and also manhandled the Brigadier himself. Despite a call to the Police Helpline (112) and a PCR vehicle (ZBR39A, Mobile No. 9311923339) being dispatched to the spot, no effective action was taken by the police personnel present. The assault occurred in full view of the PCR van, yet no intervention was made. Following the incident, the family approached Vasant Vihar Police Station to lodge an FIR. However, their complaint was not registered, and they were also denied immediate medical assistance. Eventually, the injured were taken to the Military Hospital for treatment. A written complaint has since been submitted, but the lack of timely police action—both at the scene and at the police station—raises serious concerns. This incident demands urgent attention and accountability. His name was R Akash Delison. He was 26 years old. An engineering graduate from Sivaganga district in Tamil Nadu. On March 6 this year 10 police officers in plain clothes came to his home and took him away. He was accused of attacking two men. A case that needed investigation and a courtroom. Instead he gave a dying declaration to a magistrate. In it he described how police blindfolded him, placed his legs on stones, covered them with a wet sack, and beat them repeatedly with an iron rod. Police said he fell from a bridge while trying to escape. He died on March 8. 48 hours after arrest. He never saw a courtroom. Yesterday India celebrated a custodial death conviction. Akash Delison’s family is still waiting for one. There are hundreds of families still waiting.
