Ici, le président de la RDC, Félix Tshisekedi, avait reçu et s’était entouré de deux extrémistes : À gauche, il s’agit de Mbitsemunda Habyarimana Jean-Claude, qui a ensuite changé de nom pour Jules Mulumba. Il est secrétaire général et porte-parole du groupe armé CMC Nyatura, membre de la coalition Wazalendo. Le CMC Nyatura, composé de jeunes extrémistes hutu congolais, a été initié et créé par l’ancien commandant des FDLR, le lieutenant-général Sylvestre Mudacumura, comme groupe proxy des FDLR ... congolais en apparence, mais partageant la même idéologie. En résumé, le CMC Nyatura est l’aile jeunesse des FDLR. Jules Mulumba est bien connu pour ses discours de haine contre les Tutsi congolais et ceux qu’il qualifie de « Hima » dans la région. Dans une question adressée au président Ndayishimiye, il a faussement affirmé que le Rwanda aurait tué quatre présidents : Juvénal Habyarimana, Cyprien Ntaryamira, le président congolais Laurent-Désiré Kabila, et le président burundais Melchior Ndadaye, assassiné en 1993. Lorsque de tels acteurs parlent du « Rwanda », ils visent en réalité le président Paul Kagame. À droite, se trouve Ndangendange, porte-parole de l’APCLS de Janvier Karahiri, qui ne cache pas ses sentiments anti-Tutsi. Il faisait partie de la réunion de Pinga avec les FDLR, selon les Nations unies. Si vous vous souvenez de l’incendie de plus de 300 maisons de Tutsi à Nturo, ces actes ont été perpétrés par l’APCLS, le CMC Nyatura et le NDC-Rénové, en collaboration avec les FDLR. Les massacres de bétail tutsi à Shangi, Burungu, Kilolirwe et Kitchanga, avant la prise de ces zones par le M23, ont été commis par le CMC Nyatura, l’APCLS, les FDLR et le NDC-Rénové, sous l’appellation Wazalendo. 👉 Ainsi, ces porte-parole étaient bel et bien des officiels invités par Félix Tshisekedi.

What’s holding Africans back? President Kagame asked. Prof. Murigande told Kagame that the main reason is that African leaders don’t care about their people. They seek to enrich themselves — to eat, and to eat alone. The president agreed with him, but he pressed further, asking why this problem seems peculiar to Africa. Kagame doesn’t ask rhetorical questions. He has identified a problem and is involving Rwandans in finding a solution. Here’s my take: To overcome challenges like those faced by postcolonial societies, a people must rediscover a sense of collective self-worth. Usually, this comes from the memory of their past achievements— who they were as a people informs who they are and who they aspire to be. While Africa was not the only region to experience colonization, it is one of the few where colonialism either erased the memory of past greatness or created new countries with no shared memory of such greatness. Colonisation captured African minds. In that sense, although Africa was colonised last, it was colonised the worst. Colonial education deepened this alienation, distorting African aspirations, turning them from collective to individual. In the 1950s, the small group of “educated” African elites aspired to join the white world : the colonial administration. Today, with colonial education still intact and keeping African minds in chains, the elites it creates do not aspire to uplift their people; they aspire to join the global elite. They don’t seek to improve their own societies; they seek to escape from them. Accordingly, these elites measure their self-worth by: •how fluently they speak foreign languages, •which foreign schools they send their children to, •which foreign hospitals they can afford, •how many houses they build, and how much money they invest abroad. At the heart of this lies a quiet acceptance that Africans are somehow defective as a people, and that the only way to succeed is individually. Even those who once believed they could change things often abandon the quest for collective improvement once they grasp the scale of the effort it demands. The kind of heavy lifting required for real transformation breeds a sense of hopelessness, one that pushes people from collective ambition toward individual greed. So, the individual’s aspiration becomes to join the global bourgeoisie. But these are strategies of self-evacuation. They are attempts to flee backwardness by moving from the rural village to the capital, then on to the enlightened colonial metropolis, and ultimately to disappear into cosmopolitan anonymity - a form of self erasure rather than a search for self restoration. This journey became the measure of progress. Those who remain in Africa do so with one foot already out (through dual citizenship or close connections to the representatives of their desired metropoles) for themselves, and especially for their children. Although Kagame brings up this topic, it has been a theme he turns to whenever he notices that some ethic is creeping in amongst the leaders, only that this time he is more specific. For example, while he has been teaching agaciro as a form of mental decolonization, most people over the years understood agaciro merely as a material pursuit. Yet agaciro is, at its core, about retracing and reclaiming the memory of self-worth and therefore the basis for collective pursuit.

Kagame est le plus grand falsificateur de l’histoire contemporaine. Considérant ces Tutsi comme corrompus par le régime Habyarimana, Kagame ne fit rien fait pour les sauver. Le mythe selon lequel il aurait mis fin au génocide des Tutsi en 1994 en « vainquant les forces génocidaires » est une construction narrative soigneusement édifiée, mais qui s’effondre face aux faits. Promu par le régime policier de Kigali et repris naïvement par certains observateurs internationaux, ce mythe simplifie les dynamiques complexes de la guerre civile rwandaise ayant conduit au génocide. La nature des combats du FPR, son refus stratégique du cessez-le-feu et les exactions qu’il a commises avant, pendant et après le génocide démontent cette fable. Le FPR savait pertinemment que sa stratégie de conquête pré-génocide rendait le massacre des Tutsi inévitable. Pourtant, il a priorisé la conquête d’un pouvoir sans partage sur l’arrêt des tueries. Ainsi, Kagame n’a jamais été le « sauveur ». Sans lui, le génocide n’aurait pas eu lieu. epoche.fr/wp-content/upl…)) Dans cette même veine manipulatrice, le discours officiel du FPR présente ses victoires militaires comme une lutte contre les « forces génocidaires », un terme englobant les milices Interahamwe et les éléments extrémistes des Forces Armées Rwandaises (FAR). Or, les FAR, engagées dans une guerre civile contre le FPR depuis 1990, étaient une force militaire conventionnelle, et non les principaux acteurs des tueries génocidaires, largement orchestrées par les Interahamwe. Ces milices, opérant avec des armes légères (machettes, fusils rudimentaires) dans des contextes locaux, étaient éloignées des fronts où le FPR affrontait les FAR. Le 30 avril 1994, Kagame s’oppose à une intervention de l’ONU, déclarant cyniquement que le génocide est « pratiquement achevé » et que les Tutsi restants ont soit péri, soit fui. Cette position révèle que la survie des Tutsi n’était pas sa priorité. Avant le génocide, le FPR s’était déjà livré à des massacres massifs. En février 1993, l’APR exterminait des dizaines de milliers de civils hutu, dépassant largement les tueries de représailles contre les Tutsi à cette date, provoquant l’exode d’un million de réfugiés. Avant le génocide, Kagame a tout fait pour semer le chaos, rendre le pays ingouvernable et attiser les tensions ethniques, utilisant le sang comme levier pour légitimer sa conquête. Après avoir déclenché lui-même la fureur génocidaire, Kagame subordonna tout cessez-le-feu à des conditions qu’il savait irréalisables, notamment l’arrêt des massacres. Cette exigence, moralement justifiable en apparence, était irréaliste dans le contexte de la guerre civile. Les massacres, perpétrés dans le cadre d’un programme dit d’« autodéfense civile », étaient une réponse directe à l’offensive de l’APR et à l’escalade du conflit. Exiger la fin des massacres sans mettre un terme au conflit armé équivalait à poser une condition impossible.
