All the people saying I should have had 2FA, I did for everything. I never got email or alert that my accounts were even hacked. So someone knows what they are doing.

Tesla FSD Supervised in Österreich? 🇦🇹 Vielen Dank an @SimonGmeiner1 er hat die Mail an das BMK geschrieben und mir die Infos zugeschickt! 🙏 Dadurch haben wir jetzt eine offizielle Info direkt aus Österreich zum Thema Tesla FSD Supervised: Das Bundesministerium für Innovation, Mobilität und Infrastruktur (BMIMI) verfolgt die Entwicklungen (inkl. der Ausnahmegenehmigung in den Niederlanden) aufmerksam und lässt sie in die laufenden Arbeiten einfließen. Eine automatische Übernahme von Genehmigungen aus anderen EU-Ländern gibt es nicht. Jede Technologie wird einzeln geprüft, unionsrechtlich, verkehrssicherheits- und haftungsrechtlich. Wir müssen auch abwarten, was die EU-Kommission dazu entscheidet, denn die unionsweite Anerkennung ist für alle Mitgliedstaaten verbindlich. Aktuell wird die AutomatFahrV novelliert, damit künftig mehr automatisierte Systeme in Österreich möglich werden. Ein konkreter Zeitplan für FSD kann noch nicht genannt werden. Die Prüfung läuft, technologieoffen und sicherheitsorientiert. Es ist kein Ja aber auch kein Nein! 🙌

UPDATE: RDW meldet sich gerade und präzisiert Teslas FSD-Freigabe: ✅ Typgenehmigung gilt aktuell nur in den Niederlanden 🇳🇱 ✅ EU-weite Freigabe braucht erst noch EU-Kommission + Abstimmung der Mitgliedstaaten ✅ FSD Supervised ist nicht autonom, der Fahrer bleibt jederzeit verantwortlich ✅ RDW hat das System über 1,5 Jahre auf Testgelände und öffentlichen Straßen geprüft ✅ Augenüberwachung und Bereitschaft zur sofortigen Übernahme sind Pflicht ✅ Bei wiederholter Unaufmerksamkeit kann das System vorübergehend gesperrt werden ✅ EU-Version ist laut RDW nicht 1:1 mit der US-Version vergleichbar Heißt: Großer Meilenstein für Tesla. Aber noch keine sofortige Freigabe für ganz Europa.

Together with RDW, we have officially completed the final vehicle testing phase for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and have submitted all documentation required for the UN R-171 approval + Article 39 exemptions. The RDW team is now reviewing the documentation and test results package internally. They have communicated the expected approval for Netherlands date of 4/10, shifting from 3/20 previously and we look forward to successful completion of this cooperation.  Following the Netherlands’ approval, European countries will be able to recognize this approval nationally. We are anticipating a possible EU-wide approval during the summer. Over the past 18 months, this approval has involved a series of intense documentation, development, testing, research & audits. Including but certainly not limited to: – 1,600,000+ km of FSD (Supervised) testing on EU roads – 13,000+ customer sales ride-alongs – 4,500+ track test scenario executions – Thousands of pages of written documentation for 400+ compliance requirements – Dozens of research studies into safety performance/results We're extremely proud of the work conducted with the RDW team up until this point. We very much look forward to the approval in April, and sharing FSD (Supervised) with our patient EU customers!

@lonevvolf @WolfgangAvituv @Rustavi I can confirm that I got this message leaving Austria to Germany, Germany to Austria, Austria to Switzerland, Switzerland to Liechtenstein, Liechtenstein to Switzerland, and Switzerland to Austria. I would bet they have this message currently between any EU border change!

🚨 Tesla's new border warning in Europe: ‘Upcoming country border. FSD (Supervised) will become unavailable’. From Italy 🇮🇹 to Austria 🇦🇹 (seen in update 2026.2.9). This DOESN'T mean FSD stops forever after approval. It's smart geo-fencing. FSD auto disables when entering a country where it's NOT yet legally approved (reg compliance). Once approved (starting Netherlands ~late March 2026, then likely cascading via EU mutual recognition to Germany, Belgium, Austria, etc.), it should work seamlessly across borders.
