I made some very aggressive trades over the last month in my personal brokerage account. I really pushed the boundaries.I recently closed all of the positions, and I’m going to withdraw 100% of this account. I decided to pay off my wife’s car and make a lump-sum payment toward my mortgage. I’m going to take a mental break from the high-risk trading I was just doing, focus more on my health and family, and return to prioritizing slow, steady growth and capital preservation in my main retirement accounts until I feel ready to press limits again. I need a vacation.

I’m going to be honest. If I see someone talking about order flow but trading without ladder I dont trust them. Here’s the thing about order flow — a lot of creators water it down into these heat maps/indicators because it’s easier for retail to digest. It’s a marketing tactic honestly. The reality is, if they told you the truth— that you need to do price ladder drills and put in screen time to actually gain an edge, most of you would skip it. Period. Everyone uses heat maps, and the “big trades” study, but institutions have sophisticated software, if you’re seeing the orders it’s because they want you to. Aggressive buying/selling can only be read on the DOM imo. I.e. The rate they’re reloading, how fast price ticks back up after ticking down. How much resistance there is to move price 1-2 ticks. The delta can help but I don’t think it’s the best way to read aggression. Same reason I dont pay attention that much to stacking and pulling; I.e at certain level you will see buyers reloading aggressively, then in a split second you will see the ask get pulled and price will yeet. It’s great for confirmation, but if you’re focusing too much on it then sometimes you will miss the move or get faked out. I’ve watched tons of YouTube videos, the Miltos videos have been some of the most helpful.

Bought and added 2x to EVC, stopped out today. Above my entry price now. Tried RXT 3x yesterday, stopped out all 3x. Up 60% today. Bought INTC on the gap to 85. Stopped out same day. Bought NBIS around 140. Couldn't hold above 21ema. Exited. Took my eyes off it watching something else. Rallies to 190 in 4 days. Bought FLY on the earnings gap on 3/20. My buy stop triggers around $25.50, I see the price start going vertical. I can't cancel the order in time. $1.30 of slippage on 50k shares, 20 cents of slippage on the same day stop out. I watch it go to $45 over the next few weeks without me. Bought CRWV above the HVE day on 4/13. Rallies 18%, pulls back to entry. Takes out LOD and stops me out by 80 cents. Rallies 31% straight up over the next 6 days. Everyone who trades goes through this. I've lost 75% of my trades this year and most of them go like that. Stop out, round trip, etc. There's no secret, there's no magic. Just execution. Trusting the few winners will be enough to make up for all the losers.
