@Lewis39Phil @JonBurrowsNI The assaults were vicious and two things can be wrong at the same time. It is because I have been in situations like this that I understand how people handle stress and I have arrested bouncers for similar use of force when being attacked by large groups

The moment the female officers nose was broke in the Manchester airport incident. The statement the Home Secretary put out after a snippet of video was released lacked any balance, as did much of the political commentary.

@JonBurrowsNI The offenders are being prosecuted and rightly so but that shouldn't absolve the officer from being held accountable for their actions as well. What are your thoughts on politicians threatening a civil prosecution whilst the criminal investigation was ongoing?
