Not his best game tactically (the Rice to RB decision was bonkers and threw us off for 25 mins) but his biggest and most important win as Arsenal manager. This was the day @m8arteta almost certainly won us our first League title in 22 years. So happy for him.

@andygeorgeni @JonBurrowsNI So you saw two female officers laid out in front of you ? Only glad the taser was available tbh. No real need for comment. Easy speaking in hindsight as you know. Hoping pim supported them well on the night

@Lewis39Phil @JonBurrowsNI The assaults were vicious and two things can be wrong at the same time. It is because I have been in situations like this that I understand how people handle stress and I have arrested bouncers for similar use of force when being attacked by large groups

The moment the female officers nose was broke in the Manchester airport incident. The statement the Home Secretary put out after a snippet of video was released lacked any balance, as did much of the political commentary.

@andygeorgeni @JonBurrowsNI Disappointed in your post. You have been there.!!!!! The assaults were vicious. Support your colleagues as they believed the force used was necessary.

@JonBurrowsNI The offenders are being prosecuted and rightly so but that shouldn't absolve the officer from being held accountable for their actions as well. What are your thoughts on politicians threatening a civil prosecution whilst the criminal investigation was ongoing?

In all my years skirting the fringes of right-wing groups, I’ve never once been at a meeting or rally where a crowd openly chanted death to anyone, let alone thousands screaming it in unison.

JUST IN: President Biden reveals that he took the train over the Francis Scott Key Bridge "many times" during his commute even though the bridge didn't have train tracks. Very impressive! Biden, who appeared to be taking a train that didn't need tracks to operate, said he remembers all the times he commuted on the bridge. "At about 1:30, container ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which I've been over many, many times, commuting from the state of Delaware either on a train or by car." Video: @Brick_Suit

Former CC Hugh Orde is the only policing figure who can rescue the PSNI from its current crisis, says an ex-colleague. He is "deeply upset" at how it's all gone so wrong for the force &, if approached, “could be persuaded to come back & fix things”. belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-…
