Our hearts are heavy today for 19-year-old Pvt. Isabella Gonzales of Carrollton, Texas. This brave young soldier was killed Friday in Iranian missile and drone attacks on a U.S. base in Jordan. At just 19, she selflessly answered the call to defend our nation. Her courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Sending deepest condolences and prayers to her family, friends, and all who loved her. May God wrap you in comfort and grant her eternal peace. Thank you for your service, Isabella. So let me summarize this long read of a nothing burger. Flock DOES NOT sell your personal identifying data. Your data is kept for 30 days by the police in case its needed for a case. After that, personal data is "anonymized" to train their other products which MANY companies also do. Nowhere in any of that mess does it say the government is tracking you. Also, in there is the scary word "Digital fingerprint". That is your vehicle info, which after 30 days, will no longer be linked to you. All the rest of that about sharing with other law enforcement & third parties when required or they feel is in "good faith" is another scary way to say if its an emergency situation exists or required by law they will share info to help. I'd venture to say the "good faith" reasons are extremely strict & limited. I'm really glad this guy did this. It shows that flock is not sending private citizens data to Washington & it's not used to violate anybody's Constitutional rights. Can it be abused by rogue users? Sure it can but so can every other technology that is accessed by employees that handles & stores personal information. Bottom line....Flock is a useful Law Enforcement tool that citizens do not have to fear.

In the United States, you generally forfeit your expectation of privacy in public spaces like streets parks or other venues. People ask me about the mass Flock disinformation campaign. This is a really good example. Flock never sent this letter, these people made it up (with a forged signature) to try to manipulate people. We are pro-democracy. People SHOULD have discussions and lectures like this.

People are so against Flock cameras recording their every move, but these are the same people who live with their cellphones constantly in their hand and also have Ring doorbells on their homes. Everyone was fine with their cellphone tracking them, they stupidly fell for the next stage - the nationwide rush to willingly install a Ring doorbell on their home signaling to the powers that be, they could now take the next step...So yeah, welcome to the rollout of Flock cameras to create more of a surveillance state. I have a cellphone, but it is only with me when I plan to be hours from home, otherwise it is thrown on the sofa and untouched as I keep a land line phone and I hate to text. I also do not have a Ring doorbell on my house. When I lived in NYC with my folks, my brother gave them a Ring doorbell as a gift. I hated it and complained I couldn't walk out of the house without my every move, plus audio, date and timestamp being recorded too. I love computers and technology, but I do not agree with or support the surveillance state we currently have. My dislike started back when the 'smart' phone craze started making everyone dumb. I was forced to get my kids smartphones for their schoolwork, otherwise, they would have only had their 'dumb' phones without internet access in junior high school. I heard it said years ago - There is a reason it is called a 'cell' phone...it's because you are a prisoner to it.
