Emirates is suspending check-in for all customers in our network travelling with onward connections through Dubai until 2359hrs [GMT] on 19 April. This is to support operations recovery from the recent bad weather at our Dubai hub.   Passengers already in Dubai and in transit will continue to be processed for their flights.   Customers travelling to Dubai as their final destination may check-in and travel as usual. Customers can expect delays to departures and arrivals and are advised to check the latest flight schedules on emirates.com.   Impacted customers should contact their booking agent or Emirates Office for rebooking options.   Emirates extends our sincerest apologies to impacted customers who have experienced delays and disruption to their travel plans. We appreciate how difficult it is for everyone affected.   Our teams are working hard to restore our scheduled operations as soon as possible.

@altontowers We came today and spent 6 hours queueing! 5 rides we got on in 8 hours. A total rip off day out. No fun for anyone at all.,I’ll be writing you an email!

@LilButtonBakery @MENnewsdesk I am kind to people! Just not to entitled ppl who go crying to the papers acting like they are the only ones affected! There is a war in Europe. Airports all over in chaos and you go to the paper with this! I was delayed going to the US a few weeks back by 24hours as was others!

And 31 hours after we were meant to take off, we are actually on the @TUIUK plane! We weren’t one of the unlucky ones in the ‘name call of doom’ after check in to say they couldn’t fly anymore. Just a catastrophe of errors #journorequest

@MENnewsdesk How on earth anybody would spend £8k to go to Crete from Manchester on TUI!! 🤣🤣🤣. Im sorry but I call BS!! I have been to Crete many times and also with TUI. It has never cost more than £400pp with best hotels. If your gonna lie to make it worse atleast make it believable

@TUIUK you have done nothing to help! No Tui staff airside. Cherry picking people over a tannoy who couldn’t fly anymore and the flight had at least 30 spare seats. You are a disgrace of a company! Oh and you have lost one of our bags too now we have finally arrived. What a joke!

And the worst thing - all of those people @TUIUK said couldn’t fly after they had checked in… there are so many seats on this plane! Apparently they thought it only had 29 rows but it’s got more than that. Incompetence at its highest level! @MENnewsdesk #manchesterairport

@MENnewsdesk Currently sat on a plane that was meant to leave over 32 hours ago! It’s been the worst experience of my life. Customer service from @TUIUK is non existent. Zero communication. Cancelled people after they had checked in today like an evil lucky dip! Praying this flight takes off!

@TUIUK you’ve done a great job today as well with many families not able to check in when they got here as you’ve put a smaller plane on today and it’s oversold! I’m glad we got through check in but sad for those who didn’t. You had better get us off the ground today 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
