The United Kingdom has endlessly appeased the criminal regime in Iran. The Prime Minister speaks of protecting the innocent civilians of Iran but failed to act to help stop the regime’s massacre of 40,000 innocent Iranians in January. Only an end to this regime - that brings terror to Britain’s own shores - will yield lasting peace and regional stability. Keir Starmer should follow in the footsteps of Churchill, not Chamberlain. He should support the Iranian people’s fight for liberty. The Iranian people will remember who stood with them in their hour of need and who stood against them. There is still time for the Government to change course: prosecute the IRGC that slaughters innocents, expel the illegitimate regime's ambassador, and act to support the people of Iran.

I have been informed by members of the Iranian American community in Arizona, @IACArizona , that @RepYassAnsari has declined to meet with constituents who support the MEK or hold views that differ from her own. If accurate, this raises important questions. Why are these constituents unable to secure a meeting with their elected representative? Is she not elected to represent all individuals in her district, regardless of their political views? Why do they feel that their voices are not being heard? These concerns become even more significant when viewed in a broader political context. Several members of Congress within her professional and political circle, including @RepRoKhanna, @RepRashida , @RepJayapal, and @Ilhan have taken similar positions on Iran-related issues. Some of these individuals have received support from advocacy organizations such as @NIACouncil. This raises legitimate questions about whether certain perspectives are being amplified, while others, particularly those of constituents with differing views, are being sidelined. Elected officials have a responsibility to engage with all constituents, especially on matters of significant concern and when representing diverse communities with deeply held and often differing perspectives. Open dialogue is not optional in a democracy, it is essential. On the crucial question of whether change can come from within, he points out that the internal democratic opposition in Iran faces the double problem of both being attacked by the Iranian gov AND from the inside, and by the son of the former Shah from the outside.

Ansari: It’s reported that it was either U.S. or Israeli strikes and that more than 150 children were killed. It’s devastating. These are the casualties of war. Again, right now they’re saying over 1,000 civilians have already been lost. And this is coming after tens of thousands were already killed. So I just urge the administration to please think about the Iranian people in this. Think about their future. Think about the trauma and devastation they’ve already been through. And come up with a real strategic plan to transition to democracy and end the bombing as soon as possible.

This is the saddest video you will watch today. Russian pranksters trick Reza Pahlavi into believing they are representatives of German Chancellor Merz. Despite obvious flags - the unmistakable Russian accent, the representative's Hitler mustache, who also introduces himself as Adolf (!) - the man who wants Trump to install him as Shah in Iran, cluelessly falls for it.
But it gets worse: The "German" representative announces that Germany will start bombing Iran together with Israel and the US (this was days before the war started), and an elated Pahlavi welcomes it and says that it is important that the US and Israel are not isolated in conducting this "crusade."
Yes, Pahlavi approvingly calls the Israeli-US war on Iran a crusade...
(Incidentally, Pahlavi's handler is Justin Forsyth, a former British government official who later resigned from his post at UNICEF after admitting to inappropriate behavior with female staff...)
