My friend’s husband travelled abroad barely 6 months after their wedding. Everything was going fine until one Saturday morning when two technicians showed up at her house with cartons of CCTV cameras. She thought they only wanted to install cameras outside the compound for security reasons. Not until one of the technicians entered the sitting room and said: “Madam, oga said we should put one facing the kitchen, one in the parlour, one in your bedroom and another one close to the bathroom entrance.” She laughed at first because she thought it was a joke. Immediately she called her husband. This man confidently told her: “Yes, I want to monitor the house properly. Nowadays you can’t trust anybody.” She asked him: “Anybody or ME?” The conversation became heated instantly. Now the real issue is this: Is it normal for a spouse to install cameras inside private areas of the house without proper discussion first? At what point does “security” turn into “surveillance”? And ladies, be honest… Would you stay comfortable in a house where someone can watch your every movement from another country?

6 years ago, my wife became the CEO of a top Fintech firm. We sat down and made a decision. My job was paying 300k, hers was in the millions. I resigned to be the Director of the Home. She cried, kissed my hands, and called me her 'King.' She said I was the wind beneath her wings. I'm crying right now writing this. 😭 But success has a way of changing people. The 'King' has slowly become a 'Subject.' It started with her talking to me like one of her junior staff. If the kid's school uniforms aren't ironed to her standard, she’ll hiss and say, she's out here winning billions and she can’t even get a decent meal at home? What exactly am i doing all day? I handle everything. The plumbing, the groceries, the school runs, the parent-teacher meetings. I am the driver, the chef, and the nanny combined. But because I’m not bringing home a Salary, she now talks to me the way she feels. I almost escalated things recently at a high profile gala dinner few nights ago. Frankly speaking, I'm a very reserved man. A board member asked me what I do. Before I could open my mouth to talk about my freelance consulting, my wife cut in immediately, Oh, he’s my Domestic Manager. He’s the reason I’m able to stay focused. He’s very good with the kids. My own wife. 😢💔 When we got into the car to go home, I told her she crossed the line, she didn't even look at me. She just checked her phone and said, if I'm tired of being the Domestic Manager, I should get a job that pays the bills, until then, learn to take a joke. I almost lost it for real, I couldn't realize my own wife. I am gutted. I put my dreams on hold so she could fly. I traded my suit for an apron because we agreed it was best for the family. Now, the woman I love sees me as a liability, just because I’m not the one providing the bag. She wanted a soft life but looks down on the man who made it a reality. What Advice do you have for Him? 😢

If a woman cheats, a man should forgive but please don't take her back. I say this unapologetically. It takes alot before a woman can cheat on her husband. If she ever cheats, she's capable of unaliving you, especially if you caught her and not that she came to confess. Keep yourself safe! It can never be the same again. It is a hard saying but IT IS THE TRUTH.

@marriedmn Taking her back will have to be your decision but in helping her ask yourself can you help a stranger. If the answer is yes you can help her.

My wife cheated and walked away from our family.But it didn’t last. He kicked her out, and now she has nothing.Our kids live with me, and they’re hurting watching their mother struggle. They love her, and I respect that. Family and friends keep telling me I should help her for the sake of the kids because I have the resources. But another part of me feels sick even thinking about it. Because this woman shattered me. She lied, betrayed me, and abandoned our family. And now that her fantasy collapsed, am I supposed to rescue her? What if helping her only pulls me back into the same pain I barely survived? I still can't understand to some degree how Jamaicans didn't vote for a brilliant lawyer and a class leader like Mark Golding to be PM. Just listen to parliament for the past weeks and you all will understand why I made this comment. We need to educate our people to vote smarter
