@LisaLittleAlien @theisabelb @sarahainesr @TheView There’s nothing wrong with grandparents watching their grandchildren. That’s the way it’s been done for generations. Surrounded by Family is the best way to raise up kids. At least they will be learning your values.

A few of you have sent me this & asked me to weigh in… it seems @sarahainesr of @TheView has decided to strike again, calling my response to their unprovoked attack on me and my family “willful” and “ignorant.” I genuinely harbor no ill will toward any of these women - I’ve never even met any of them!! - but do remain utterly stumped at their lack of social awareness for why people across the cultural and political spectrum didn’t react well to their insane attack on the family & motherhood specifically. Sara - as you know, the View is refusing to host an honest conversation between us after your producers wrote a segment for the hosts to grossly target, as you point out here, someone 20 years your junior. Disappointing, really, for a show that’s supposed to be about multiple “View”points. That said, I’ve already extended the invitation to one other woman sitting around that table this week to come on The Isabel Brown Show for an honest conversation about the beauty of motherhood and where culture needs to be having this deeply important dialogue. The invitation now extends to you — from a place of “genuine empathy,” would love to host the conversation that @ABC refuses to. God Bless You, and happy Easter.

@LisaLittleAlien @theisabelb @sarahainesr @TheView Grandparents have knowledge, experience & perspective that parents lose in “the fog of war” so to speak of raising children. Not all parents just get it and since the beginning of time elders helped. Only feminists want women miserably lonely w/a houseful of cats 🙄

@TCNetwork @TimJDillon Conservative mom here. I had a great time going to Disney World with my huby back in '18. Maybe the difference is that we aren't those obnoxious entitled adults ruining it for kids. We grew up on Disney but couldn't afford to go when we were kids. We also took our kids later.

@Gabe_Lackman69 @yoalexrapz The fact Candace mentioned her source at counter intel agency and had basically admitted he was leaking stuff to her which really was his opinion since he never bothered to go to fbi hq for the briefing he was offered on multiple occasions. News cycle moves so fast now

Joe Kent is clearly no friend to Charlie as he has actively participated/egged on behind the scenes in the degradation of his wife. How anyone could defend him in any way after that disgusts me. Fake friends.

@Mukelei2 @ScottRoberts @michaeljknowles But when talking specifically about this woman, what most men desire is irrelevant. What her husband desires is what matters when talking about her situation. And I would think being a Godly woman would be the MOST desirable to Godly man, regardless of her past.

@LisaLittleAlien @ScottRoberts @michaeljknowles To a man. I stayed away from women for years bc I didn’t want to marry back then. Now I do and my stomach churns thinking about my future wife having been with another man, let alone 15 men (current US average). If she is saved, fantastic. But I will still prefer a virgin.

The thing everyone seems to have missed about this guy is that he’s a Christian social media marketer. And he’s clearly good at his job!
Trevor Sheatz@TrevorSheatz

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

@ScottRoberts @michaeljknowles Brother, it’s disingenuous to pretend a woman’s past is nothing after conversion. It’s not nothing. It matters. A virgin is still objectively more desirable.

While I do believe there will be some pushback, and authenticity will end up holding an ever higher value, the masses will be enthralled with the endless power, customization, and cheap price point that will come with AI. Nearly everyone reaches a breaking point when it comes to their altruism, and most of the time that comes down to what they’re able to afford. If a fully human, artisanal film costs $20, but an AI movie that you got to be a part of “creating”, and that you can also star in by simply scanning your own face/voice, only costs you $2, then even folks with lots of creative integrity start making different value judgements. But I believe that if we can find ways to truly fight for and safeguard certified organic, human-made art, there will always be a market for it. Similar to organic food, and vinyl records, it won’t comprise most of what is available, but it will be highly valued to those who care, and want to invest in it. 🙏
Sara Higdon@SaraHigdon

@ZacharyLevi Yeah, this is an insane thing to do. Though I will say I was a little white pilled about the direction of AI over the weekend. At SXSW, the common theme was that people are starting to yearn for something real and as AI slop gets more prominent the market will moved to reject it.

Henry Cavill is more of a man's man. He actually isn't THAT attractive to most women. Timothy Chalamet outshines him as sex symbol that appears to women. Henry has the classic strong, tall, muscular and reliable kind of vibe, but he lacks edginess, danger, mystery. He's basically a Reddit nice guy in a jagged body and a handsome face. Also, he's enthusiastic about stuff like building PCs and his Warhammer figure collection. I find it cute personally, but for most women it's negative aura.

@Grump0ldMan @pureMetatron We're still having a ton of fun. So, no fun being lost. We're just different people with different values when it comes to what we want in the game.

@LisaLittleAlien @pureMetatron Sad, Playing an evil person in a game can be a great amount of fun and can make the game feel even better. But because people are not allowed to play they people they never learn to do it well. So the fun it can be is lost.

@WesleyLHuff Just watched the beginning of your appearance on DOAC. Wanted to say that my teenage daughter (a Christian) says her generation sees us miserable millennials, especially the mill women, and doesn't want that. They don't want to be rich, drunk, childless, lonely, cat ladies.

The term "theological liberalism" is thrown around a lot. When push comes to shove though, it still boils down to Richard Niebuhr's summation of what theological liberalism truly is: "A God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through the ministrations of a Christ without a cross" (Kingdom of God in America, 193). Liberal/progressive Christianity is more than that but it is no less than that, and it will always come down to it. Niebuhr's words 89 years ago are just as applicable in 1937 as they are today.

@MaryMargOlohan I understand it's anecdotal, but the huge families I've seen resulted in lost kids looking in unhealthy places for the attention they don't get from their parents. Boys are narcissistic, girls seek out "affirmation" from men. It seems to breed insecurity.

@MattWalshBlog I went to a church that had a "Bawl Room" where they put the sermon on a TV. It was a comfortable room for parents if their child was struggling that day and a place to teach your children how to sit respectfully thru service.

I don't love it. I'm actually considerably less tolerant of loud kids in public now than I was before I had my own. Your children should not be allowed to disrupt a church service, or any other public gathering. If they're being unruly, remove them. If they're old enough to know better, take them out and discipline them. If they're too young to control themselves, then again remove them. I've had to do this many times in many situations. It blows my mind when parents just sit there and let their kids totally disrupt and irritate an entire room full of strangers.

I love this so much -- a church's loud kid policy:
