@MatthewWielicki Thx, well, I wish you could see them with me. I used to tell everyone else that they're seeing contrails. Really. That was BEFORE I saw what I described earlier with my own eyes. If contrails, these planes are NOT using the airports and flying perpendicular to commercial paths.🤷‍♀️

@LizRetelle That's because there are very few cloud seeding flights in Colorado the primary cloud seeding done in Colorado is through ground generators. What you are seeing are contrails.

But there’s another piece people ignore… Modern aircraft are far more efficient. They burn fuel more cleanly and cruise at higher altitudes… right in the part of the atmosphere where temperatures are colder and humidity conditions are ideal for contrail formation. Contrails form when hot exhaust hits very cold air and water vapor condenses into ice crystals. The higher and colder you go, the easier it is for those trails to form and persist. So what you’re seeing isn’t something new or mysterious… It’s the combination of: More planes Higher cruising altitudes More efficient engines operating in colder air Same physics… just happening more often and under better conditions for visibility. Nothing unusual… just aviation and atmospheric science doing exactly what they’re supposed to do.

I’ve been a registered Republican for seven months. I travel across Colorado for my work, and despite it being a Democrat-dominated state, I see that a majority of Coloradans (including a significant number of gays), align on the actual issues with a conservative platform. Where the GOP has failed, and the Democrats continue to succeed, is on identity politics and “guilt by association” branding. I meet people every day who are fundamentally conservative but will not consider voting Republican because they’ve been convinced by an onslaught of Democrat propaganda that doing so would associate themselves with “pedophiles” or “racists” or “anti-progressives.” So out of social shame and conformist pressure to be viewed as “nice,” they vote for the Democrats and their destructive policies. The @GOP needs to develop a smart, targeted marketing campaign on social media that interviews diverse Republicans and independents about why they are conservative. Why is the Republican Party asleep at the wheel on marketing (and so many other issues like the SAVE act)?
