@TaxpayersUnion Bicycles are more polluting than cars. The energy required to power a bicycle is very inefficiently provided via food, and the energy required to grow, transport and prepare that food makes the equation even worse. We should tax cyclists more.

This BMW driver opted to turn down the offer of a £100 safer driving course and challenge his careless driving charge in court. Last week he was found guilty by Bradford Magistrates of driving without due care and consideration and given 3 points and £750 in fines and costs.

@BladeoftheS That’s not a bad idea. I’ve pretty much lost interest in upgrading. Every year the new model has a slightly better camera and a slightly faster processor. And that’s it. If it was easy, I’d just keep it until it was no longer supported and then upgrade - so about every 5 years.

The EU now requires all Mobile Phones to be sold with easily replaceable and standardised batteries, as they used to be. From 2027 they all will be again, in Europe.

@ArtistCyclist Because it’s 30mph in the Magna Carta. So, reducing the speed limit is against are freedom and is part of the 15 minute city gulags the commie government wants to put us in.

I don’t have any issue driving a car at 20mph and staying within the speed limit. Why do so many drivers admit their driving incompetence when they claim it’s impossible to do?

On this day in 1974, bollards were installed in De Beauvoir, Hackney, to manage traffic and prevent danger from passing vehicles. All this happened before the term "low traffic neighbourhood" was invented. Definitely one of my favourite areas in London, and a dream for cycling

I'm concerned about the cost of fuel. It's making my commute more expensive. I realise some may think the cost of fuel doesn't apply to cyclists. But many of us on two wheels use a specific type of fuel... Coffee
