Have some patience and realize that Trump is attempting to negotiate with a herd of cats. The Iranians are split between the hardliners like the Endurance Front, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf (IGRC), Mojtaba Khamenei (Supreme Leader) and the moderates like President Pezeshkian and Abbas Araghchi (Foreign Minister). The last thing most of us want is to see more war. I don't think you want that, do you? Most in the US are hoping for a peaceful outcome. I'll bet the majority of Iranians feel the same way. The bottom line is the Iranians surrender their nuclear material, open the Strait if Hormuz and give up on their quest to annihilate Israel.

Recently, I proposed legislation to eliminate the fee to apply for a firearms permit. Unfortunately, House Democrats voted down this common sense legislation, requiring that Connecticut's law-abiding citizens are still required to pay a fee to exercise this Constitutional Right.

Perhaps the reason for this is because the voting process may be rigged. I'm not saying this is happening in every town or county, however the perception is there and many who think it's a waste of time and money. How else can you explain why the working class would continually vote Democratic in such a dysfunctional state? Over 1/3 of Connecticut residents is living here with some form of government assistance.
