Last evening, my wife and I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of Emmanuel Ocailap and Ahabwe Winnie, held at Kigo Gardens. Emmanuel is the son of Mr. & Mrs Patrick Ocailap, Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, while Winnie is a daugheter of Mr & Mrs Turyahebwa Godwin of Mushunga, Mitooma District. In Mitooma, we raise our daughters with discipline and strong values, and Emmanuel’s journey all the way to Mitooma speaks volumes. For anyone searching for a good wife, Mitooma is certainly a place to look! I sincerely thank the parents of both Emmanuel and Winnie for nurturing and preparing them for a strong and successful marriage. Marriage is a vital foundation for the stability and progress of families, communities, and the nation at large. Congratulations to Emmanuel and Winnie. I wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and success in your marriage.

Happening Now! Our Executive Director @MNakabug presents findings from the 2024 Learning Assessment. Here are the Five Key Findings: 1) Nationally, Learning outcomes have stagnated and regressed 2) Learning outcomes have slightly improved in some instances since 2021, especially for numeracy 3) Few children are acquiring competencies typically expected for their age 4) There are signs of gradual recovery from consequences of the covid-19 pandemic-related school closures 5) There are major variations in learning outcomes by region, sex of the child and pre-school experience

I have an idea, Next year we shall have new Mps. Now that Kiira motors is up and running, Instead of giving each MP 300 Million to buy a Toyota. Lets have @rggoobi wire all the 165 Billion to @KiiraMotors in June this year in preparation for the new Mps. Each Mp will get a hybrid SUV(both fuel and electric) made in Uganda. After swearing in, we shall hand each Mp a copy of the constitution(as usual) and the keys to their new car. We shall be supporting a Ugandan company owned by us taxpayers, saving the environment since the cars are rechargeable and it will also be a free advert for Kiira with 527 of our own cars driving around town. We shall hit 3 birds with one stone. I beg to submit.
