@detectivehaha @Sam_Badawi Stock price has absolutely zero relevance. Total worth is the key.
English

@Sam_Badawi Bad thing about stock splits is that it takes forever to get back to what it was in stock price

Australian trans woman Roxanne Tickle sued women only app Giggle for Girls after being banned (AI flagged her as male). Court ruled it was indirect discrimination—sex is "changeable," not strictly biological. Giggle lost, paid damages. Appeal decision today upheld it and doubled the damages.

@TaraBull The more I see this guy, the less I think of him. Congrats on the superficial wins early in life champ, but you’re missing out on the best parts of life. The moments and people that actually have real substance instead of awkwardmaxxing with jargon nobody understands.

As an Australian who’s chosen to keep my assets and live elsewhere, this nails it. As much as I’d love to, I’d never come back to start or scale a business under these rules.
You’re bloody right, the government just made gambling a better bet than building anything real. No sweat equity, no risk capital, just 47% handed over while they prop up the casinos. Australia is actively telling founders like me, don’t bother. Ok. So we won’t. The talent and capital are already voting with their feet.
Moronic. You’re pushing out talent, but importing dependent people that will forever suck the government for handouts.
English

Let me get this straight.....
If I invest 500k into a startup, take all the risk, put in years of work and become one of the very small % that succeed in a meaningful way — when I sell, under the new budget the government takes 47%. They funded nothing and took zero risk. On a 500k capital gain that's $235,000 gone.
And here's the kicker: because a founder builds from nothing, there's almost no cost base to index. The new "inflation discount" shelters almost nothing for the people who actually build companies. It was designed to hit you hardest.
If I take that same 500k to the casino and put it all on black and win, I make $500k and they tax nothing. The time to either win or lose is in seconds, and the outcome if I win is better. The probability of winning is 50% — far better odds than the startup, and a lot faster.
So this government will back the gambling companies — they refuse to budge on their own findings and recommendations despite being in complete power — and they'll prop up gambling, but they'll shoot innovation in the head.
Founders, leave now is the message.
Fair?

Buying a Legacy Gas Car
**1996**
– You drive to the dealership lot
– A salesman “checks what he can do”
– You haggle for 4 hours
– They disappear into the back office 17 times
– You get hit with surprise add-ons and dealer fees
– You spend hours in the finance office declining extended warranties
– You sign a mountain of paperwork
– You wait forever for “delivery prep”
– You finally drive home mentally exhausted

Buying a Tesla
– 10 clicks
– Under 10 minutes
– Bought from your couch
– Transparent pricing
– Zero haggling
– Zero pressure
– Zero upsells
That’s why the dealership model feels ancient.
Thread below breaks down the entire Tesla buying & delivery experience from start to finish. 👇🧵

People always love to ask, "What are you going to do when the battery goes on your Tesla?"
This 2019 Model 3 RWD owned by @Drive_Protected still had the ORIGINAL battery and rear motor after 381,000 miles (613,000 km). Even after all those miles, the battery retained 70% capacity.
He decided to bring new life to the car by swapping the original NCA pack for a modern LFP pack from a newer Model 3. The original pack was still perfectly functional, the swap was just for performance.
Swapping a battery in a Tesla is much quicker than people think. In just a few hours, the orginal battery was removed then replaced with a LFP pack. Once configured via the computer, the car is perfectly functional. There’s no huge mess, not a lot of wires, it’s actually very simple once you are experienced with it. His Model 3 now functions and charges like a newer car.
Tesla vehicles are designed from the ground up to be very serviceable.

Video from the Austrian pavilion at the Venice Biennale:
Artist Florentina Holzinger hangs upside down inside a giant bronze bell. She swings back and forth and literally “rings” the bell with her own body.
This is part of a large-scale installation about the climate apocalypse. The bell with a person inside symbolizes a warning about the coming flood.
The Biennale officially opens on May 9, 2026, but the performance has already begun.

Flywing has developed the X-WING, a compact VTOL FPV aircraft that combines vertical takeoff with fast fixed-wing flight.
It can take off vertically, hover, and switch to forward flight with a single command for smooth and stable performance.
With long flight time and a foldable design, it blends the advantages of both drones and airplanes.
