NEW: President Trump says somebody leaked to a media outlet that the first F-15E pilot had been rescued but that the US military was looking for a second crew member. He says Iran didn't know that at the time, and his admin will go to the media outlet who reported it try to force them to disclose their source in the interest of national security or "go to jail".

I've followed @DavidePiffer's work for many years. He has been far ahead of the curve and attracted many accusations of racism and/or methodological incompetence. Then, as time passed, his findings that were formerly derided were reinforced by other studies. His career is validation of the classic sequence:
1. "That's pseudoscience."
2. "It's dangerous and immoral."
3. "It's true but we shouldn't talk about it."
4. "We knew that all along."

I think it’s still pretty taboo to discuss in academic settings and is frowned on even among a group of friends that leans politically left, and as recently as 2024 we were being actively cancelled for mentioning anything along these lines. It was always beyond delusional to believe people would have as much motivation to care for those vastly different than themselves than for their own kind, it flies in the face of biology, evolution, human nature. Simply look at immigrant communities in any city and you can easily see this play out. They congregate in pockets where they can look after their own, and no one bats an eye. It is only the white man who is required to sacrifice his biological inclination to take care of his own, for the good of “diversity.”

People are sharing this story. What's interesting is for a period in time in the 2010s, you were not allowed to discuss it. Simply posting research would result in pile-ons/cancellation in corporate America, for discussing a topic a healthy society would debate. A mass hysteria
