The New Yorker describes Graham Platner as having a “complex” backstory. It is unimaginable that they would say the same about a Republican who had a Nazi tattoo (and maligned women, gays, blacks, soldiers, and police). How about “sordid” “despicable” or “disqualifying”?

“LA has been reporting fewer crimes than in decades, but crime is an issue dominating citizens’ experience here.” Fixed it. Reporting fewer crimes does not mean fewer crimes are being committed. Part of the reason is there are too few police officers in a town this size to attend to all the crime. Hence much of it goes “unreported.”

Great debunking Anna Kasparian's deranged conspiracies straight to her face. She's now blocked me on X. Thomas Massie took money from billionaires, Iranians, and PACs while implying Trump was a pedophile. As usual, she had no response other than to yell, interrupt, and insult.

Note that, unlike Kaepernick, Dart didn't do this on the NFL's field, on its airtime, in its uniform, at a game; this was his own speech, his own dime, his own time.

From @TheAthletic: After New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart introduced President Trump at a rally in New York on Friday, linebacker Abdul Carter questioned his teammate on social media and later downplayed any potential friction. nyti.ms/43cOXd3

Democrats in LA never thought they’d actually have to face a serious challenger for Mayor, so now they have nothing to run on other than the same gas-lighting that radicalized so many people after the fires. Not even the fire itself as much as the condescending—Oh, we know you’re not elite enough to understand this, but the experts all say having your home town destroyed is inevitable. Stop overreacting. Everything is fine. Want some meth?—It’s not fine, and Spencer Pratt is giving voters permission to ask for something better.

PEAK CLOWN WORLD We now live in a world where your kid can’t pretend to be an Indian for five minutes without being called “culturally insensitive” But a grown man pretending to be a woman, complete with makeup, wig, and hormones, is celebrated as “brave,” “beautiful,” and must be affirmed by everyone.

If you ever get the chance to go to Normandy, take it. Don't just visit it-take your time and let it sink in, because it is one of the most humbling experiences I've ever had. Standing there, looking out across those beaches, you can almost feel the weight of what happened there. It's hard to fully understand what those soldiers went through until you're standing in that place, realizing the courage it took just to run toward that shore. The beauty of Normandy is quiet and powerful, but so is the sacrifice it represents. The rows of white crosses, the history in the ground, the silence in the air-it all reminds you that freedom came at a tremendous cost. It's the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. It makes you grateful, reflective, and a little more aware of how much was given for the life we live today. Normandy is more than a battlefield. It is a lesson in sacrifice, bravery, and remembrance. 🙏🇺🇸🙏
