Just letting y'all know, I'm not living the John Carlson trade down unless the first-round pick we got for him turns into a borderline hall-of-fame player. And looking at some of the late first-rounders we've taken, I'm not too confident that'll come to fruition.

Kuzy update: we’re doing a little better today. Still not 100 percent. But she’s the strongest pup I know. Thank you guys for all the support so far! That said if anyone has any recommendations on making her more comfortable, pain management, etc. please let me know!

Sorry that I’ve been away from the keyboard today — Kuzy and I spent all last night at the emergency pet hospital and are headed to the vet again. She’s been in quite a bit of pain, and we’re not sure why. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Much love ❤️

Konnor Griffin hit his 3rd HR of the spring today. He’s 19 and has a legit shot to make the opening day roster. The last 19 year old to start on Opening Day was Adrian Beltre in the 90s. Griffin hit .333 and stole 65 bases in the minors last year.

While we can't make a trade partner appear out of nowhere, but for now we can at least clean up the little things. The giveaway numbers aren't pretty. Single digit PP% since December 5th isn't gonna get it done. No more periods off. Stuff like that

I think they need a trade but I'm not sure that the players they need may be out there just yet. They just so badly need an Elite forward right now. Rock and Hard place, patience is probably best but will be a little painful.

@dicnowder It is so confusing to hear these types of comments when the Caps are: Just 4 pts. out of 1st - Eastern Conf 10th in league - Goals For 6th in league in +/- Plus, no PLD for an extended amount of time. Honestly, I think we're ok.
