@SantaAnaPD Santa Ana police department celebrates America's 250th anniversary of liberty by confiscating fireworks. It's so great that enforcement of minor city ordinances clearly takes priority over addressing things like: theft, drugs, and gangs...

Directed Patrol Officers, with the assistance of the Vice Unit, served two search warrants at separate residences involved in the possession of illegal fireworks. During the searches, #SantaAnaPD officers seized approximately 550 illegal fireworks weighing an estimated 650 pounds, with a combined retail value of approximately $8,000.   Both homeowners were issued $1,000 administrative citations for possessing illegal fireworks.   Reminder‼️: The possession and use of illegal fireworks in the City of Santa Ana can result in a minimum $1,000 fine and/or up to 6 months in jail. Help keep our #SantaAnaCommunity safe by leaving illegal fireworks out of the celebration.

Brandon Gill asked FRAC's director of SNAP policy if people should be able to buy soda with food stamps. She said yes. He then left her speechless after exposing how FRAC is funded by Big Soda and companies that profit off EBT dollars.

@TruttmannRoger @WhiteHouse How about you keep your country- one of the ones from which our ancestors voluntarily endured many hardships to escape- and we'll keep ours along with our President, with whom the majority of us are quite pleased.

You are NOT back. Random snippets from visitors and content creators don't mean a thing. You are NOT back. Ask your own citizens who live in the States and have less and less to live on and survive... You are NOT back. The whole world is laughing at your incompetence and your disastrous leadership. You are NOT back.

@greg_price11 People respect honesty. This non answering blows her credibility out the door. Easily can say it’s a tricky question- what’s the alternative water, diet soda, Juice etc. There is no clear cut answer or solution because of all the corrupt studies by big food corporations.

@rpazotto @greg_price11 If the average American wants to pay for their own junk food and then pay for their own healthcare from the consequences of their junk food choices- have at it. But the taxpayers should not be paying for the non-tax payers' junk food and resulting health consequences.

I was wondering when I'd get an In-N-Out story, thanks Now I greatly await the visit to the rival. Whattaburger. A rivalry as old as McDonald's vs Burger king over here. In-N-Out in California and Whattaburger in Texas. I expect a riveting tale once you get to it, thanks in advance

I went to In-N-Out and ordered a cheeseburger. The cashier, a calm young woman named Destiny, asked me a question I did not expect. "You want that Animal Style?" I paused. I did not know what this meant. But a samurai does not admit he does not know. So I answered with weight. "...Animal Style." "Cool. So that's mustard-grilled, extra spread, grilled onions, pickles. Yeah?" I understood now. This was a sacred permission. For one meal, I was being told to put down my manners at the door. To eat the way a beast eats, without shame. I had waited my whole life for someone to give me this order. "Yes," I said. "I will become the animal." Destiny did not blink. "...Okay. You want your fries Animal Style too?" I stopped. Even the potatoes? "The potatoes also become animals?" "I mean, they get cheese and sauce and grilled onions, so..." "Then yes. Let the potatoes abandon their restraint as well." "...Got it." She was the calmest woman I have ever met. "3x3, 4x4, or just the one?" I did not know these numbers, but I knew a challenge when I heard one. "How many must I face?" "It's, like, how many patties you want." "How many is the most honorable?" "...Four is a lot." "Then four. A warrior does not ask for fewer." She wrote it down without argument. A 4x4, Animal Style, with animal fries. She warned me once, kindly. "That's gonna be huge." I told her I was counting on it. It arrived. It was a tower. Cheese and sauce ran down my hands the moment I lifted it. There was no clean way to eat it. There was no dignified way. That was the entire point. I ate it like a beast. Both hands, no honor, grilled onion on my chin, and I have to be honest with you, it was the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. For thirty years I have kept my manners at every table in the world. They handed me a burger and told me to be an animal, and I have never felt so free. So tell me, America. The whole country knows the secret menu. What else are you hiding in plain sight? And "Animal Style." Was I eating the animal, or finally becoming one?

@slxthkween Studies show that having kids later correlates with living longer... That said, my mom had me at 40 and passed away at 76. It was hard. I don't know that it would keep me from having kids close to 40, but I do think it's better to start younger.

The extra burden put on your kids when having them around 40 isn’t discussed enough My timeline sped up 2x because my parents will likely die within 15 years, not 30 I’m forced to decide between buying an expensive house near them, or barely seeing them until they’re decrepit

@RealShahriqKhan Seems like the Genesis account aligns with the only outside evidence available. Combine that with the fact Islam wasn't founded until 1,300 years after that Assyrian inscription...

@RealShahriqKhan Apparently the oldest outside source mentioning the Ishmaelites is Assyrian (roughly 740BC), and it says they were northern Arabia near Assyria. Genesis 25 says his family settled, "from Havilah to Shur, which is opposite Egypt in the direction of Assyria."

You know what shocked me as a former Muslim? The claim that Ishmael was the father of the Arabs. Because when I actually read Genesis, the story didn't match what I had been taught. Genesis 21:21 says that after Abraham sent Ishmael away, he settled in the wilderness of Paran, and his mother found him a wife from Egypt. Not Arabia or Mecca, Egypt. Yet Islam's Abrahamic narrative depends on Ishmael settling in Mecca, building the Kaaba with Abraham, and becoming the ancestor of the Arab line that would eventually produce Muhammad. The problem is, that's not what Genesis says. The Torah records an Egyptian wife and a life centered in Paran. The later claims about Mecca, the Kaaba, and Ishmael's expanded tribal legacy appear centuries later outside the biblical text. So now we're left with a question: Did the Torah preserve the original story? Or was the story later rewritten to create an Abrahamic foundation for Islam? Because if Ishmael's roots are in Egypt rather than Mecca, the entire narrative connecting Abraham, Ishmael, and the Kaaba deserves a much closer look. Why aren't more people talking about that?
