Rep. VonHaefen should be removed from assigned committees immediately. Rep. Von Haefen promoted images of k-lling the president, his staff and hates symbols targeting the Jewish community. This is not the behavior that anyone elected to public office should be demonstrating. Furthermore, she sits on the House ETHICS committee. Her behavior certainly WAS NOT ethical. Deleting her X account WAS NOT ethical. Limiting comment on her other social channels WAS NOT ethical. She also sits on the K12 EDUCATION committee. They also urge House Speaker Hall to remove her from the Education Committee due to her inappropriate conduct at the "no kings" protest, which is wholly unbefitting of an elected official.

Meet NC State Representative Julie Von Haefen. While participating in a “No Kings” protest, she proudly posted a picture of someone holding an effigy of the severed heads of President Donald Trump and his senior policy advisor, Stephen Miller, while holding a banner that read, “In These Difficult Times, Some Cuts May Be Necessary.” Most disturbingly, the effigy of Miller, who is Jewish, was marked with a swastika. @AGPamBondi @StephenM @realDonaldTrump

We reached out to the North Carolina Speaker of the House Destin Hall @ncspeakerhall for comment and will update if he responds. Multiple NC legislators have already issued statements on a NC Democrat Rep sharing a photo calling to behead Trump. See thread. Rep Julie von Haefen needs to resign or be expelled. Her post comes as a lawmaker in Minnesota was m*rdered and another was injured. It’s time for accountability so these calls to violence from the Left end once and for all. They’ve been getting away with it for way too long.
