Our A level politics students recently attended a national conference at Westminster’s Central Hall, where they joined over 1,000 students from across the country. They heard from leading political figures. Students also had the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers.

Henry Vaughan Lanchester (1863-1953) was the eldest of the Lanchester brothers and like their father became an architect. Specialised in large public buildings eg Cardiff City Hall, Methodist Central Hall and former Royal Palace Jodhpur. Professor of Architecture UCL.

Honoured to open this morning’s @ChurchWorks_UK Summit at @MCHW in prayer, and hear from Faith and Communities Minister @MiatsF. The Summit concluded with an address by my dear friend, @ChurchesEngland General Secretary @_MikeRoyal. It was also wonderful to catch up with our very own @THanna81 on the remarkable work of @ExodusYWUK.

In 1946, the world came together in London. 80 years on, the @UN continues its mission to build a better world. I've been proud to contribute to that goal since first serving with the UN 30 years ago. Thank you @UN_PGA and @AminaJMohammed for joining us to mark this moment.
