Maybe she wanted to minimize the loneliness her husband would feel and encouraged him to find a companion. That is what I would do .

Many people are attacking Massie for admitting to getting involved in a sexual relationship just two months after his wife of over 31 years died. How exactly is this an issue? Due to her death, he was CLEARLY unattached and they were both consenting adults. What am I missing here?

After being together for so long ...maybe she wanted him to find a companion quickly. That is what I told my husband...I'm not coming back so move on.
