The wearable category is sleeping on strength training. I’ll be customer #1.

Delivery app tipping isn’t about feedback mechanisms.. it’s a tool for maximizing price paid by consumers… eaters are economically irrational with tip, for every $1 in tip, they economically behave as if it were $0.80 (directionally true but hypothetical figure) … this means less price elasticity for the same price… couriers are also economically irrational with tip, for every $1 in tip they economically behave as if it were $1.20 (directional) The tip is a hack on human psyche which the apps must implement and maximize or miss out on economic surplus that their competitor will use to defeat them. The app that decides to pay the same net amount to the courier but as a square deal vs a drop fee + tip will lose market share every day to an equal marketplace player that implements and maximizes tip

Be the Dutch in the 17th ce: -Dominate world trade -Art is seen as a golden age -Build a Northern Venice -Center of philosophy/science 17th c. ends: it's all over Van Gogh/a few physicists aside, there wasn't a single outstanding Dutch anymore. What did they mean by this?

I echo this. The latest version of Whoop's coach has a memory function that I really appreciate: I told the coach about my plan to become faster and run more races next year, giving it specific dates and paces. Now it incorporates these (person specific) goals into analysing my recovery and workout plans. I like this a lot as it helps you figure out the context of your personal adventures into sports and health. See screenshot, you can see how Whoop's coach does this. It works with questions on nutrition, too. The focus on improving my running economy is one of the things I do to work towards my goals. The coach picks this up seemlessly.
