The saddest part (for me) of the @BeanstalkFarms exploit is I feel more robbed of intellectual capital than financial capital. No other project in Defi has made me feel that way in my short time in the space

Among the cesspool of rugpulls, scams, pump and dumps, and straight horse crap ponzi forks that have plagued DeFi this past year, @BeanstalkFarms stands out as a very rare breed of great ideas run by particularly honest and humble team. I'm rekt but hopeful.

Regardless of what happens next, what has become clear to me is that people like @isthispublius, @GreatKyamites, @LawDumpling, @SiloChad and many others in the DAO are demonstrating a rare quality in DeFi - integrity and professionalism - and this is something I back 100%.

Seeing how @isthispublius and the whole team at @BeanstalkFarms responded to the recent $75M exploit is truly inspiring and textbook professionalism. Most rational people faced with this kind of set back would have immediately quit, but instead they did something different...

People who are making jokes about $BEAN exploits, shilling other projects in the wake, or ripping on the traders who were in it are getting insta blocked.
Some traders just had the worst day of their lives and are on borderline suicide levels. Have some sympathy for others...

@SmallCapScience Such a sad day. The silliest oversight ends in tragedy for all involved. Omniscia audit clearly had some holes in it. It's about time shit auditers take responsability for this kind of negligence. $Bean was not supposed to end up this way..

A sad day for @BeanstalkFarms. It was a promising design and a terrific community.
Flash loans were used to accumulate enough $BEAN to create a new vote (since there is on chain governance) that enabled draining of liquidity.
Sincere condolences to all farmers impacted.
