@GSostakas @LunaAnara @TahirihWalsh So true! Half the household was sick while the other half remained masked and we did not get sick. Hard to quarantine in a small house. So masks do work.

@LunaAnara @TahirihWalsh We use well fitting N95's, they are pricey but so far have worked well. We actually read the instructions on how to fit them (properly) & follow them.

I think the mood has changed in the past week. Lots of stories about pediatric hospitals and ERs full. Stories of kids dying. I think public opinion is shifting in favor of mask mandates.

In CA, HS kids are State tested just like everyone else and if they belong to a charter school (there are tons), they get lots of resources and help. The perception we are all isolated,Christian, and that parents are ignorant, is wrong

@Zata71 @MAPotoczny @ohJuliatweets I don’t think anyone should be homeschooling the way OP mention. I was just pointing out not all homeschool situations are the same, and to explain why some do decide to do it. Just like public school students get tutors, I get some help for my children as well.
